Absolutely killer little pizza restaurant! The pizza was amazing along with the cheese bread. The staff was A1 and always on top... of things. Bull Run Pizza's space is tight and wedged into an old building. The space didn't feel or look as clean as it could be - but it... is very casual eating and not a chain (which I like). It is really good pizza - they are doing great work. I liked the bread alot. It is a crunchy and dry thin crust that can almost stand on it's own weight (if you hold it by the edge can stand parallelto the floor without extra support of folding). The portion - just being a 16" for the price (about $29-ish) was to much for usto make it a regular thing. Having a 18"+ pizza is part of the fun of ordering a whole pie, so seeing a XL that is that smallwas a bit a let down. It just seemed like we should have gotten more food. AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS! I know Portland is a pizza town but this New Yorker hasn't been impressed with most spots here. I finally... got around to trying this place, and it was amazing! This pizza is SO TASTY. When my husband and I took our first bite we bothsaid, "WOW!" The crust was somehow but crispy and chewy at the same time. The sauce was super flavorful and the fresh basil wasperfect. They have a cold fermented crust which is easier for people who are gluten free. Very comfortable, dive-bar-like pizza place. The Benji pizza is great. Service is chill and nice. In a great area where you can... walk to cute stores after you have your pizza! Also you can get dessert at Mochi Donut OR Crack and Cheese, choose yourdirection! Read more
Reluctant to write this review because I want to keep this place my secret, but it is sooo good that I have to share! This place... never misses on quality. Perfect crust, flavorful sauce, the best cheese and toppings. Since finding this place a month ago,I?ve been coming here once or twice during the weekdays and then a third time on the weekends for a slice. Slices are a panpizza style, but still somehow just as amazing as the regular pizzas they make. Online ordering here is super easy and everyonein the shop is friendly. Super reasonably priced compared to other pizza places in the area as well. Cant say enough good thingsabout this place! Read more
One of my favorite pizza places ever, honestly. Thin crust, nice crispy edges, slightly blacken bottom, quality cheese (they... sprinkle parmesan on top right before boxing up), and the small crispy pepperoni make it the best. Definitely recommend tryingand the single slice thick crust is NOT a deep fry deep dish, they just proved it longer so it's air-y. Worth trying, but bothare great! Inside the restaurant could be a bit more enticing to sit in, but outside has a few picnic benches! And plus, thestaff are really nice and chill. They seem to be having a good time. We live in the neighborhood and just tried Bull Run Pizza's monthly special. Delicious! I particularly appreciated the special... touches, like fresh cilantro added right before the pie was boxed.
