I love going to this place every time I come to Portland. It has such a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable and... friendly staff. Like a cozy bar but without being _a bar_. Came in on a hot day in Portland. The Endless Summer smoothie was incredibly refreshing and tasty. The small came in a 16 oz... glass :O!!! The employee was friendly, and the store had a nice vibe that is great if you want to study, read, or chat withfriends. Highly recommend, worth every penny. Read more
Nice shop with several different drinks. Not just kava. I wasn't the happiest with their limit on bring home powdered root kava.... Limited at a 1/2lb. Not sure why as they will sell you as many growlers as you want. I didn't stay inside the store long but itseemed very casual and relaxed. Read more
This place has a nice welcoming vibe and it's nice to chill here with friends for a bit. The girls behind the counter were... really nice and gave recommendations when we weren't sure what to get. Kava does taste like dirt water but the body high andmouth numbness make me want to keep coming back. They also have a nice selection of other drinks and such and some reallydelicious vegan chocolate. Read more
Ah, Bula Kava House. A place for relaxation, community and best of all, a non alcoholic beverage that leaves you feeling good... ???? I’ve had great interactions with several different staff members and everyone is very informative and friendly. Iespecially enjoy the cultural knowledge they go out of their way to provide you with about kava. Highly recommend everyonetrying it at least once ???? smoothies and açaí bowls are very good there as well! I should note I think it’s pretty coolthat the owner is often at the kava bar and makes a note to interact with people in his space ???????? Read more
