Be aware - counter service only, no dining area other than a couple of stools by the window. Pizza takes about 30 minutes... minimum. GREAT FOOD! The pizza sauce is tangy and sweet, the crust crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Not a lot ofcheese, but enough, and generous with the other (very fresh) toppings. Unassuming store front with Good square cut pizza. Mozzarella sticks are huge but didn't love the flavor of the breading and... their ranch has a bit too much dill for my taste. Will be back to try a sandwich. Read more
So originally I thought this was just a 2 time thing. We used to order from the red phone at Proper Pint, but on the 2 occasions... we ordered, staff was rude, one of the order items was missing, no utensils even though we asked, and a lot of attitude, thesecond time the delivery person just threw the pizza on the table and left upset. I was at proper Pint yesterday and another barfly told me they no longer order from you for the same reason. I'm not messaging to complain. The mess happend already. I'mcommenting to hopefully get the attention of the owner. You make great pizza, but your staffs attitude, and lack of attention todetail, is costing you. Also if the red phone is such a big issue to order off of then have it removed. We can easily just pickit up. Attitude free. Read more
Some of the best customer service and love the location it?s a nice spot to grab a lunch or dinner. The Italian beef is amazing... and so yummy I love their au jus it reminds me of consume from dirria places so much flavor . Love the peppers and the subs arereally filling . Pizza was delicious and the cheese curds you can?t go wrong . The antipasto salad was delicious and had a goodserving of meats and cheese . Definitely will be going back here. Highly recommend. I've tried all the Italian beef sandwiches in Portland and Bridge City has my #1 favorite. The beef is tender, but has a little... chew. The joos is peppery in that way it is supposed to be. The peppers, both sweet & hot, were excellently made and presented.I like that they charge extra for cheese, because this practice should be discouraged. Cheese does not go on Italian beef. Iwill fight you. I would be happy with this sandwich if I got it in the neighborhood I grew up in on the south side ofChicago. I look forward to getting their pizza. I doubt I will have to tell them how to cut it like all the other trash pizzaplaces we've suffered with on the west coast. I also like that they support their local little league. My search for the best thin crust pizza is over!! It's not overstating it. We ordered half pepperoni pizza w/ extra pepperoni... and half Hawaiian cooked golden brown. We ordered mozzarella cheese sticks too but not those thin ones from the grocery store,theses are big they have a thin crisp outside and thick soft mozzarella inside. so delicious!! We won't be ordering pizza fromany pizza place it's worth the drive. Reheats well and we even ate some cold. The customer service was so refreshing.
