I got a Sellwood club. For my 11$, I got a basic cold club with turkey, ham, bacon, romaine lettuce, and tomato (no cheese). It... was supposed to come with Dijon mayo vinaigrette, but it tasted and looked exactly like mayo. It was supposed to be served onhomemade sourdough, but it tasted and felt like cheap, dry white bread from the supermarket. The staff was polite and the foodcame fast. The chocolate chip cookie that came with the sandwich was by far the highlight of the meal, one of the best I've hadin awhile. Soft in the middle, crispy on the outside, tons of chocolate chunks and served slightly warm. Read more

Located in the Pioneer Place Mall, Bridge City Cafe is one of my "go-to" places for lunch, and I'm a regular visitor. It's... pricey but delicious. If you need a cheap sandwich, find a Subway instead. If you want a variety of soups, sandwiches with freshingredients, and excellent cookies along with friendly, personal service, this is the place to go. Highly recommended is thetomato bisque soup, and they make a coconut chocolate chip cookie worth fighting for. There's a small seating area adjacent asit's in a mall. I bypass a number of sandwich shops nearby (Subway, Pot Belly) to go to Bridge City, and that's because it'snoticeably better. Highly recommended. Read more

Good place to relax with a sandwhich or salad in the heart of a run down city. Prices are a little up there but ingredient... quality definitely makes up for it. Service is decent, depending on staff working at that time. Only issue is the suspiciousindividuals in the area. Read more

Terrible salads. They literally put a spoonful of sandwich style chicken salad on top of poorly chopped lettuce with extremely... large cut tomatoes (so gross texture and too big of pieces for a bite) and charge you the price of a gourmet salad. I actuallythink their menu calls this garbage gourmet. Haha. Never again will I make this mistake. This salad was so bad I will never goback and try anything else. Talk about lazy prep. Read more

I like the tuna sandwich, and the little lemon cookies are exquisite. Last time, I was waiting for my food for ages because... they'd forgotten to tell me it was ready, or didn't say so loud enough for me to hear, a full fifteen minutes after they'd setit out on the counter. I had to ask where it was, and I'd been sitting in plain sight at the table closest to the registers thewhole time. I usually love this place and the food is great but that's not cool, especially when there are no other customers. Read more
