Blind Onion has opened a second location, in the space formerly occupied by Cheese Bar. They have very sensibly made few changes... to a very nice space. The biggest change that I noticed was a new mural on the east wall. I paid my first visit on a night thatthey were donating part of their proceeds to the local middle school. It's wonderful to see Blind Onion establishing themselvesas good neighbors. As for the food, it remains the solid pub style pizza that I recall from their original location. The crustis neither thick nor thin, browned nicely on the bottom without being charred, and beautifully rolled around the perimeter, witha lovely amount of chewiness. One thing to be aware of: the menu and pricing are very clearly laid out on the website, and whenI attempted to create a pickup order online, the pricing was noticeably higher. I cancelled the online transaction and simplycalled in my order instead, where I was charged the prices indicated on the site. My guess is that the price discrepancy wasgenerated by a delivery service, which, in the case of my takeout order, would have provided no added value at all. Read more
Wow, what can I say... Blind Onion strikes again. Haven't been to this location yet, but wholly smokes this pizza is religion.... It's. So. Damn. Good. I just had a loss in my life recently and I'm so glad I came here for some pie. I have a new family now,and it's Blind Onion. 10 outta 10, would recommend! Read more
I love blind onion and I'm stoked we have one in the neighborhood now! Insanely good crust. Put honey on it, it's life changing.
Came here to escape the cruel hardships the world has place upon me, hoping and praying that a slice would give my life meaning... again but alas I was proven wrong. My slice looked like frozen pizza and was dripping so much oil that I could write my namewith it. My girlfriends slice was just an inch of cheese with dry veggies that had been sitting there for hours. When we walkedin they literally turned on the heating light for the pizza but before hand it had been off for who knows how long (health codeviolation). We?ve been mourning the loss of a young family member and honestly? this just made everything worst. Might have abreak down later. I feel sick to my stomach, and not because I?m lactose intolerant but because I?m allergic to dairy. I?venever had pizza this wack, honestly 7/11 has better, more authentic Italian pizza. Fantastic location, friendly staff and great pizza! The beer and slice ($7.75) or soda and slice ($5) combos are kind of unreal!... Very excited they?ve finally opened, and they have honey bottles ready to smother your crust in! Read more
Got a few slices to go after weeks (?) of walking by and peeking in the window, waiting for it to open. I'm so excited to have... this place in the neighborhood! The staff was SUPER friendly and quick (and wore masks ??), the pizza had great sauce, cheese,and crust, AND the prices were so reasonable I'll be back frequently! Read more
I really don?t understand the hype for this place. The pizza is average at best. The crust is soft but flavorless and the sauce... is one-note. Normally I?m not one to leave negative reviews, but the order was expensive and I don?t really want to eat it. Irequested vegan cheese on the cheesy bread and it came with regular cheese, so it is inedible. It actually looks pretty good, sothat?s a bummer. I also ordered garlic chips and received what looks like another version of cheesy bread, again with regularcheese. I guess that?s my fault for ordering something without a description (I ordered via Postmates) and assuming it to bewhat is normally considered garlic chips.
