Cute/tranquil little light-filled Japanese cafe with decent selection of teas and tea lattes. Best part is that they also have... parfaits and soft serve. They also have some small snack/food and desserts (I.e onigiri, brownies, etc). As the name implies,it is near the Portland art museum. This location has been around for many years and we've always been treated to friendlyservice. Good place to stop by after a stroll through the museum or downtown area. Can be a bit crowded so seats can be a bithard to come by over the weekend. Read more

Nice cafe with Japanese accent. Their menu is mostly Japanese food. They have many different types of tea both Japanese and... English. Coffee is nice. It appears this is the only place in Portland who serves matcha and hojicha soft cones. This is a musttry for me. They are so yummy. They also have onigiri, this was great. They also host pottery artist, and carries Japaneseantiques. It is a fun place to be. Read more

The Teriyaki Mushroom Onigire was excellent. However, the Ham and Egg sandwich was out of this world! It was put together... with thin sliced ham, tomato, cucumber, all on a bed of egg salad, and between two slices of oat bread. It was the best I hadever had! Read more

Cute ambient coffee/tea house. Was very busy and most seating indoor were taken in the early afternoon. Ordered the matcha latte... which was 5/5! Hojicha brownie was a bit mild, but the hazelnuts in them fused well: 3/5. Will definitely still be back formore. Read more

One of my favorite places to get some matcha and hojicha soft serve. The flavors and texture of the soft serve is perfect. It's... a nice coffee shop that has light snacks to enjoy. The people here are friendly and quick to get the order out. The interior hasa nice calm feel to it. Read more

Nice place. It is a restaurant as well. I just had some hot cocoa and read a book for a half hour, the music was good,... new-classical. The place looks cluttered as you enter because they are selling a lot of stuff. The barista way over steamsyour milk (even if you tell them "not too hot please"). I would encourage the barista to try one if their own drinks that theyhad made... Way too hot. Very common mistake for baristas. They have wifi and the wooden tables and chairs and ceiling have avery pleasant look to it. Also I like their table decor. Read more

Great ambience and appropriate, plus clean interior space. Went along well with theme and connected to the museum in its... displays and sales of trinkets and kimonos. Love the food. Delicious samples of traditional Japanese snacks from modernexamples. I would highly recommend the ic ed, matcha latte. It comes with frozen green tea ice cream, pieces of dessert like abrownie and a cute umbrella on top. I would highly recommend this place to a friend and would be one of the first places I wouldbring visitors to Portland to see and eat for lunch! Service is great and they test for covet immediately at the front door. Read more
