Reviews for Banh Mi Up Kitchen Alberta in Portland, OR
I really disliked the bread on my banh mi was 3 days old, no longer crispy nor fresh and had that chewy, dry texture that you... find at Trader Joe's breads when they sit too long. Kinda disappointed. One star for the good pork. I will go to TM Banh Mi onBroadway for a more authentic sandwich. Read more
Yes it?s expensive for a banh mi but it?s so worth it. Their vegan pork belly is so good and the caramelized onion dip they... serve with it is divine. The tofu appetizer is also bomb. Read more
Food was delicious! I was across the street getting bubble tea and saw them. Stopped by to pick up some Vietnamese coleslaw with... grilled chicken. I wanted something light and tasty. It was delicious! Thank you so much! Read more
We were idiots are arrived 30 mins before clsoing. The staff was so nice and accommodating. We got the vegan pork belly banh mi... sandwich and garlic noodles. Both were so fresh and delicious tasting, which is unusual when ordering right before closing. Soso so so so good! I will recommend this place to everyone I meet. Highly recommend. I will go back as much as possible. Did Imention it was so freaking good? Holy smokes. A new staple. Read more

Wow! This place is amazing. I got a grilled chicken Bahn Mi today and I couldn't be more pleased. The bread was fresh and... fluffy, the veggies crispy and flavorful, the meat perfectly seasoned, the shrimp chips were simply delightful. On top of allthat they are well priced and very quick, 10/10 will be returning regularly as I work nearby. Read more
Came back here to order their lemongrass chicken bahn mi because it was amazing the first time I had it. The second time I came... back, it was disappointingly different. This time, it tasted like chicken teriyaki and was overly salty and sweet, which is notwhat I expected. No taste of lemongrass and not as fresh-tasting. I don't blame the people working there and think maybe therecipe has changed in a way that doesn't suit me anymore. Girl at counter explained that this is just the way the kitchen makesit. In the end, I went across the street to Dolicious to get a replacement sandwich. Read more
