It is nice to sit outside and enjoy a beer or a glass of wine. We didn’t try the food but the burgers looked good. So nice... that the street is closed and you can relax. They bring the tap beer over from Gorges just down the street. Read more
Ankeny Tap is not, as you would expect, a place where you can get water from a faucet. Nope - they have beer! But I didn't have... any. It turns out that some of the "taps" have a small, but nicely selected list of whisk(e)is. So, needless to say, this was mychoice. The food selections a few but well prepared from fresh local thingies. The burgers were phenom! And, because this isPortland, even the water us good. Even though it doesn't come from a tap. Get the nachos and a slushy. You can also order from Gorges brewery across the street from the convenience of your picnic table.... The whole street is blocked off with spacious seating. The servers are super nice. Read more
A blackend chicken club that w/ flavors that will make your tastebuds do the tango! Featurimg tasty perfect bacon. Tip get... theire fry sauce and theire kiwi jalapeno hot sauce ( not spicy silly tany tantalizing!!) The mushroom barley stee is at least2 meals* get the bowl for $7 u can't beat it anywhere!!!! Plus happy hour burger is hooked up!!! So worth it. Great drinks! Theonly thing reason I don't give it 5 stars is the salad on happy hour $6 small nothong to it and not organic. I was staying in the area for a work trip and came here 4 times in a week. The food was great the service was excellent. Not... only did I find it cozy, but the staff members that varied from each visit were extra friendly. It was never really packedwhich in this neighborhood seemed odd. The fish fry was one of the best I have ever had. They also carry a great beerselection including Coaltion's 2 Flowers. Thanks Travis and all your staff. Read more
