So good. Don't miss out on the best fried brussel sprouts in Portland. Cheese selection was creamy delicious and burger of... brisket with tasty fries was worth every penny. Super service, a bit noisy if you care about the acoustics but overall a greatmeal. Read more

After living in Portland for 7 years, we wondered why nobody ever recommended this place to us, so we decided to give it a shot.... We had the mussels and Nicoise salad after having a few oysters. The execution on the mussels was extremely disappointing. Thewhite wine wasn’t cooked off leaving the dish overwhelmed by the smell and taste of alcohol. That really says a lot about thebasic skills from their kitchen. It’s not restaurant worthy if not insulting to the guests. Perhaps call Fore St Restaurantand ask how they do their mussels. The Nicoise salad was unseasoned. The star of the dish, the vinaigrette, needs to becompletely redone. I think whoever prepared it should watch some youtube videos and relearn the basics. We paid $120 and barelytouched our entrees. Avoid this place. Read more

Great food and service! We had a wonderful salad, great mussels, and the burger. And an NA beer! Excellent service, even when... emergency street construction started up at 8:30 PM! They offered to move us inside, but we tolerated the noise. A bit out ofthe way, but worth the effort. Go there! Read more

Drinks and salad were great! We ordered the burger and a tamarind pork chop special for our entrées. Both were utterly... fantastic… the kind where you’re so full but just keep eating. Portions are quite generous and next time we might just doone entrée to share! Service was great too. Looking forward to going back and trying more on the menu. Read more

I was brought here on a recommendation by Phuc Tran, author of his memoir Sigh, Gone and we had a great time dining outdoors.... Service was terrific and accommodating. I had the crab cakes which came out fresh and savory. Good drink options too Read more

I really appreciate this place. People are super friendly, you can really taste the quality of the food. Quality and concept... 100% perf Conception is at 90% You can tell they put a lot of energy into making this high quality food from fresh ingredients. Most of what I ate was superb. A few dishes didn't quite come together as well as they might have but considering they changetheir menu so often it's understandable that not everything gets to get fine tuned everytime. Deviled eggs where phenomenal,I've had their kimchi ones as well as horseradish and bacon. They give 6 halves which is a big serving ! The flavors really camethrough so well. Mac and cheese was really good! True test was that it still tasted great the next day! It's not a creamy macand cheese, it's feels home made but with top notch ingredients. Beet salad was ok, there were great big pieces of beets, allthe ingredients were fresh, the dressing was super tasty! But it didn't really feel like it came together, the escarole was araw, so too bitter to be served in such big chunks. Shredded or cooked would have brought it a better flavor. The beets alsolacked flavor and some were a little undercooked. But i enjoyed the citrus for pops of sweetness! 1/2 chicken was very tasty.Only had a bite before the other person ate it all ahaha so i don't have much to say there. Dark chocolate pudding has anexcellent texture and tastes pretty darn good! Read more
