The decor is lively and very enjoyable, creating the right atmosphere for this place, even if a bit too loud at times. The food... was good, maybe a bit on the pricier side, but we enjoyed it. We did not get drinks, but ultimately for a Mexican restaurantit's a solid choice. Read more

This place should be on your list if or not you are from portland. Visited this cute place on our weekend trip. Was packed even... at 4pm. We got the chips and guacamole that tasted amazing. Perfectly seasoned. The proportion of chips to gauc was off. We hadway more chips but I guess you could always order more dips. We ordered the chorizo torta. Flavours were on point. We alsoordered the puffy tacos with shrimp and chorizo. Both were mildy flavoured and tasted amazing. The star of the meal were thechurros. They were the most crispy ones I have ever had and were served with a caramel or toffee sauce. The staff was amazingand welcoming. The ambiance is very cool liked it. Major complaint is no backs on the seats. I have no idea why bars do this. We would have... stayed longer and drank way more had it been comfortable. Our server/bartender was good. We must have come in at a busy timecause it took a few walk bys till he finally helped us. House margarita was well made and a favorite of my bf my draft beercould have been colder but i was thirsty so drank it fast so was a mute point. Delicious food extremely fast service and a super chill vibe. I can recommend the chicken burrito bowl but there's plenty of... other options. The guac is also spectacular. If you're looking for an open late date night spot after karaoke at the flasklocated on spring st on a Thursday night you can't go wrong with taco escobarr. ???? Read more
This was a great place to eat and hang out at! The service from Dan was amazing, he's a great bartender and made a phenomenal... whisky sour, one of the best I've ever had. The chips and Guac were tasty and the Chorizo Torta was great! Drinks are a littlebit pricey but not unreasonable. If I was a local, this seems like a great spot to hang out and be a regular at.
