From the moment we walked in, Carlos welcomed us and offered tables to us. The menu had pictures and he was happy to give... recommendations. Legitimately some of the best food I've ever eaten, and the pernil was out of this world. It was easily the most tender pork... I've ever had, basically melted in your mouth, and the salt and spices were perfectly balanced. My wife and I wandered in whileon vacation in Portland and Jesse and Carlos (the two guys working there) were immediately welcoming to us. Super nice peopleand great hospitality. Really can't say enough good things about this place and my only regret is that we live 11 hours away,lol. We ate at a large amount of restaurants during our week in Portland and bar none Sal de la Tierra was in the top 3 placeswe visited. Thank you Jesse and Carlos! Read more
