Phenomenal meal. Everything about Petite Jacqueline is perfect. I will definitely plan to visit again in the future.
Had a great lunch! I have been doing the Maine oyster trail and was so excited to get some oysters. They were great but one... arrived broken in half with shells in it. When I asked for a replacement it was super awkward and I was questioned- resultingin an uncomfortable end to lunch. I was surprised to be served a broken oyster at such a nice place. Not sure if that is anormal standard. Read more
My wife's birthday dinner did not start well. Street parking was none existent, forcing us to park in a lot in front of the... restaurant that only allowed for a $21.00 charge at the pay machine. We got to the restaurant on time, but our table bookedmonths before and reconfirmed in person at lunchtime had been given away. The person seating us said that he was not aware, which just meant that he had not checked the computer when seating the other couple. Even when it became open while we werewaiting on our main courses, we were not offered the option to move over to it. Different waiters served us through the meal. The mussels were excellent, as well as the side dish of Brussels sprouts. My wife does not like pickled vegetables that werepart of the brussel sprouts dish, but that is a personal preference. My pork loin dish serving was plentiful. I had been advisedthat it would be prepared medium. However, it was served well done. The restaurant acknowledged the birthday with acomplementary dessert. Read more
Walked in on Mothers Day which is the one of their most busy days of the year. Nevertheless the host got me a table and was... cool about it long as I was gone before the reservation for the table I was at. They make a great Greyhound and the salad withsmoked salmon was ???????? ???? French onion soup was decent but overall a great place with great service! Read more

A half-baked blend of The Cheesecake Factory atmosphere and amateur hour open mic night at a bad comedy club. Atmosphere -... Music was too loud for full house, we sat closest 2-top near front door, and front door kickback does to work, every time thedoor close it slammed loudly and the floor and walls shaked. Kitchen door remained open during service, not only could we seeand hear the service chaos for our entire meal, but we felt the energy too. Service – Server was well mannered but clearlyinexperienced and unable to maintain order. He barely served us and worked with teams of runners and others throughservice. Food - An utter disappointment and sad pseudo attempt at classic French cuisine. "Baked Brie" - plating and pair on6" white round china with three tranches of bread (not toasted) with splash of evo. microwaved brie?, An executionaltravesty. "Short Rib Bourguignon" - What happened to this dish? Beef cooked correctly with tenderness and some chew, saucelacked depth and complexity, no notes of red wine or aromatics, pearl onions cooked nicely but dish was topped with a rawmirepoix (carrot & celery) cut on a bias. Never have I cooked or experienced raw vegetables on a classically braised dished. Also, no pomme puree, bread or service spoon for collecting remaining jus. This dish was so confusing and executedpoorly. "Salmon En Croute Duxelle aka Wellington" - par for the course and sad looking presentation overall. Pastryundercooked, salmon cooked med/well and duxelle lacked overall flavor and presence. Haricot vert (nope) generic long greenbeans, not even cut or trimmed nicely, fibrous and topped with barely fried capers and toasted almonds, all served with a smallpitcher of a grade school attempt at buerre blanc or some type of white wine sauce that roux was not cooked outthoroughly. Dessert - best course of meal (5 on 10) ambient, Opera cake plated on rectangle slate and cheesecake plated on 6"round white china. Praline with opera cake was Read more
