Insanely small menu done very average. Portland has so many other options. My spinach and cheddar omelet was $15 and $4.50 for... an iced coffee. The food had very little flavor. The service was super nice. Attentive, friendly waitresses. Not worth thestop. Read more
Service wasn't too bad. I had the regular breakfast. I asked for over medium and the eggs were basically cooked through. The... scrapple was cut extremely thick and fried which isn't the best way to eat it. The hash browns were unique and very good. Thetoast was hard and not very tasty. Hands down best breakfast in Portland, ME. The Baklava cinnamon roll was a daily special, and the best cinnamon roll I?ve ever... had. The pancakes are huge and perfect. Served with citrus butter and fresh fruit which really takes them to the nextlevel. The hash browns are like giant tater tots. Big balls of shredded potatoes fried up with perfect golden browncrust. Every time I?ve been in, the owner has been running the FOH, and the service has been exceptional. If you haven?t triedthis place yet, you are definitely missing out. All fresh ingredients which really does make a huge difference. They also havedelicious local coffee from Coffee by design and amazing orange juice. It is a clean open kitchen with employees that obviouslytake pride in what they do. Do yourself a favor and try them out. Support local businesses, and if you?re looking for anamazing Italian sub, I highly recommend their other restaurant, the other side deli. Last but not least, the music andenvironment are perfect. I stopped in for breakfast on my way to the train station. It?s very conveniently located and has a great atmosphere. The food... is was great and provided classic diner food with a slightly different twist. I had the lamb sausage and hash browns and it wasdelicious. Would definitely recommend checking this place out. Read more
