Reservations are through Resy. We were lucky to get a late reservation on Saturday night for the GEM ! Loved everybit of the... dinner time. From the wine to bread to appetizers to main course. Focaccia bread is a must! We tried the chicken liver mouse,fusilli and rigatoni. Mind blown over how delicious the food was. This place isn?t even expensive. The bar seating are popular. As soon as they open at 5pm all the bar seating was taken and it's only Wednesday night. I highly... recommended that you make reservation ahead. It doesn?t get much better than this. Italian food with its beautiful simplicity, often with a little creative twist. Who knew... corn could go so well with a salty pasta? Everything from drinks, appetizers, to pastas, and the service as well as ambiencewere stellar. For my personal taste some of the appetizers were oversalted, the crostone and panzanella. But overall Americaneeds more places like this, brings me back to Italy. Read more

Some of the best pasta I?ve ever had, absolutely perfectly cooked?the shells with crab was insanely good; we ended up getting 3... different pasta dishes. Dessert was simple and delicious as well (and very pretty!). The cocktails were very ?classic? tastingdespite having interesting sounding ingredients which was sort of a surprise, but the ?Morning Glory? non-alcoholic drink was anunexpectedly delightful substitute. Leeward is amazing! My husband and I did not have reservations, but the hostess said if we came back in an hour she could give... us a seat at the bar. The staff members at Leeward are caring and very attentive. We had a delicious meal and cocktails. Weasked the girl tending bar for a wine recommendation and it was a hit. We had a wonderful dinner. Everything was excellent. The focaccia was light. Our table enjoyed the mussels, beet salad (very... interesting combo with oranges and olives), and brussel sprouts with whipped feta (outstanding). The housemade pasta were allcooked to perfection. The gigli was simple but amazing. The balanzoni with black truffle was to die for. The onlydisappointment were the very limited dessert offerings (semolina cake, 2 gelato and a sorbet) so we went elsewhere. Our serverwas very knowledgeable and helpful.
