One overworked stressed waitress for the whole dining room. One cook in the kitchen.(On a very busy night.) Took forever to be... waited on and then to get our food which was sub par right down to the floppy uncooked bacon. If IHOP can?t manage their staffand restaurant, perhaps it?s time to close. Have gone here for years and NEVER been disappointed until last night.I won?t begoing back.. and yes ,I left a tip because I felt sorry for the waitress. Read more
Pros: Seated quickly, nice server, wasn't over crowded. Cons: I got one of the new wildberry and lemon ricotta crepes and it was... good but ice cold. I assume the ricotta was put on straight out of the fridge and my plate sat for a bit. The French toast was abit flavorless as were the pancakes. Just a bit disappointed this visit. Read more
My waitress Kristine was just the best. The tea omg was strong and fresh. I ordered the Chicken Fajita Omelet with pancakes. It... was to die for. I will have to come to Portland, ME IHOP just to get Excellent Service and Good Food. I do recommend this placebecause of the service I received. The food was icing on the cake. Yum. Yum. Read more
Excellent staff, great food. We were traveling through the area with our pets (2 dogs and a bird). The staff was extremely... friendly and accommodated us with a very pleasant outdoor table. All staff were friendly to us and our pets. We greatlyenjoyed our breakfast there. Read more
Really great food and super wait staff, especially when busy! They had a sign stating you might need to wait to get your food, ... we found the time went quickly and didn't notice any delays. This photo was of the lemon-blueberry protein pancakes. A bit dryand I would have enjoyed more lemon flavor, still good to eat! Read more
Just left ihop in Portland maine with the wrong order and a hair in my eggs. Usually when I do a pick up order I check my... bag,but this time I came in through the back door where you pick up online orders and call in?s?well I stood by the door for 20minutes,just having staff walk by me like I was a coat rack just standing there?.so I finally go to the front door where thehostess is and she?s just sitting on a stool legs crossed foot bouncing and 5 more minutes later I finally made I contact withone of the waitresses and she took my order. She said food will be ready in 6 minutes I say cool thank you?put a five dollar tipin her hand. While taking my order she repeats it back to me and I say yeah that?s correct. I go to the car sit outside a fewminutes and head back inside,we?re I meet the waitress that took my order outside walking to meet me?I tell her thanks and grabmy food cause I?m hungry as hell for one plus I?m frustrated cause I just come from the gym exhausted ready to eat and had towait 25 minutes to order with no crowd. Chris who has been working here for 17 years was AMAZING. First off, he got our order down so fast without even writing it down.... The food came out quick. Being from NYC you are used to fast and efficient service, and I was not disappointed. He even told usplaces to visit in Maine. He was super friendly and you could tell he loves what he does. 10/10 for this location, def give it atry and ask for Chris! Read more
We didn?t have to wait for a seat. The place wasn?t super clean, but the service was great and the food was good. It took a... very long time to get our breakfast, but it was pretty busy and our server was working hard to get everyone taken care of. Read more
