HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. Everything (house made bread, perfectly/lovingly prepared and every delicious bit was filled with a... Nobel thoughtfulness so sadly missing in almost every thing I eat these days. Just go! Order a ham sandwich or anything felse and I guarantee you will be glad you did. SIX Stars! Read more

Pies and Platters- Foodworks provided pies and platters for a family gathering. It is the first time I have not prepared the... food myself. (Fussy former Inn owner) We had been to an event that Foodworks catered and everything was exceptional, so we tookthe leap.Could not be more pleased with the qulity and presentation. Multiple guests asked for the name of our caterer andRAVED about the pies.."best I ever had" was uttered more than once, and this was a group with lots of bakers. Thank you Pam andRob! Excellence. The best sandwiches on the planet! The tarragon chicken salad is my personal favorite, but everything they make is outstanding.

Great food. All of it. Healthful, yummy soups, excellent sandwiches on Anadama bread (the tarragon chicken is most incredible).... I'm not a doctor, but I think their chili just saved my life. Read more

One of the most underrated things in a neighborhood is a solid deli shop. No one thinks it's important, but boy, having a good... deli shop changes everything. And Foodworks (along with Other Side Deli in Deering) is one of the best deli/catering shops I'veknown. They don't skimp on your protein, or for that matter, anything. Your sandwiches and wraps will be packed. They don'tskimp on ingredient quality. They source as much as they can from local farms and they have their own farm too! They also domany of their meats in-house. When you have freshness, deliciousness just follows. They don't skimp on variety. The classicsare always there, but there's also always new wraps, sandwiches, soups, and salads every week. They don't skimp on service. They'll get to know you and you'll get to know them. It's not a different cashier every day - they have a core team and you'llsee those 5-6 folks there always! The only thing they skimp on is price. Nothing is more than $10. So there you have it. Don'tgo here at your own loss! Read more

If you have a food allergy, DO NOT EAT HERE!!! I asked specifically about a sandwich being dairy-free, which I was assured it... was, and somehow my sandwich (the curry chicken salad) had pieces of cut up cheese in it - although it's not even in the recipe!Unclean, cross-contaminated environment. Not to mention that the staff was INCREDIBLY rude when I pointed out that there wascheese, physically showing them so they could be aware of their mistake, while they yelled at me and denied it. Rude people.Wouldn't refund or even give me something else to eat. Now I am sick because of this. Never going back. Read more
