Party of two, we walked in at 8:08pm on a Friday night to get dinner before heading home we. We walked all the way in was... greeted nicely by the a lady behind the bar who then walks to us after we have walked all the way in and says "we're closed, sorry." It was 8:08pm.... the didn't close until 9pm.... on a Friday night!! We weren't a big party I don't understand why theywould turn us away on a Friday night!! Especially when everywhere it says to e close at 9pm AND there was no closed signanywhere.... so I am not impressed.... Read more

Ridiculous place to eat. I hadn?t been there in a few years because of a bad experience. I divided to give them a second chance,... but once again a f-en disappointment. It took over an hour to get our food. Our order was completely wrong and they didn?t offerto make it right! If you want good service PLEASE DONT GO THERE!!!! Read more

We will have a party of 6 tonight, February 12, 2020, and we are all looking forward to a great dinner. None of us bother what... others think and we all make up our minds after the meal. We have not dined at the Cellar but look forward to a new experience.See you around 6 this evening and we're coming in from Bakersfield....Well, we ended up having a group of five and all of usthoroughly enjoyed our meals. One had the Chicken Fried Steak, one had the Pork Chops, one had the Shrimp Dinner and two of ushad the Rib Eye Steak. All of us agreed we will return. It was a great experience with great service and great food. It wasn'toverly crowded but busy enough. We were seated immediately. Read more

Where else can you get a T-Bone steak, baked potato, salad and bread for $16.99?? This place has been a staple in P-Ville since... the 70's. It has an upstairs and downstairs. The name "The Cellar" came about because that's where it started. In the cellar."The Mint" was a bar above The Cellar. When The Mint went out of business in the 90's , a couple months later The Cellarexpanded. On weekends they still open up the original Cellar downstairs because this place gets that packed. I can stillremember "Bud", the original owner packing a .38 on his hip in plain sight on Saturday nights years ago. This place haseverything you could think of ordering. Edit 5/1/19. Their prices have went up!! T-Bone is now $19!!! Read more

Well..... when you spend your hard earned money on a meal you would expect a good experience. We ate there tonight, never got... our bread after asking twice, the waitress never came back to our table to see if everything was ok, we needed refills never gotthem. When we went to pay, I asked the waitress if we got a discount because we didn?t get our bread. She said, ? oh, I?m sorry, you don?t always get bread.? I told her ,? it says it?s served with your meal? she acted like she didn?t hear me. I didn?t getwhat I bought, therefore I feel ripped off. Bad service for sure. I?m sure the owner will not respond to this review. It lookslike they don?t respond to many of them. Good thing you have your regular customers and good luck getting new ones. You shouldalways make sure your customers are happy and satisfied. A good owner would make sure of this.... Read more

My dad loved this place I try and keep the tradition and make it here as often as possible. They make a great rare steak, it's... the best I have had ever paired with their half and half horseradish and a tall "Cellar Ale..." you have to try their food...Deep fried oyster, mushroom, and their pizza is great too... Salads are simple but I don't know what they do or how they prepthem but are generously amazing... Read more

I was overcharged $30 for something that was $26 and she only removed $2.25 instead of resetting and correcting. It took forever... to get our food and I was served before my kid's simple dinner. I don't like cold food but a grilled cheese sandwich takes onlya moment to come out with my steak and lobster. The lobster was pretty rubbery. I will go elsewhere next time which reallybothers me when I can tell them my order without looking at the menu or them asking any questions because I used to love thisplace. Read more
