Very popular small place with an antique 70's feel to it I must say. First time there and a Philly Cheesteak was on special. I... asked the cashier which one would you try if it was your first time. She replied "the burger. So I ordered it and it was wellprepared with grilled onions and a bunch of fries in a paper basket with a side of jalapenos. Free refills always get a thumbsup from me. Therefore the 5 stars. However the Chili Cheese fries are just average. Would go back but get there before 12pm asthere is a little wait if you do. Read more
Holy cow!! This place has a steak for two!! The burgers here are great but the reason you should go is for the service. They'll... treat you like family your first time in the door. First time I've ordered appetizers by the individual unit and I loved it. Ido only want 4 poppers thank you. Prices are reasonable for sure. This place was recommended by a co worker as we were talking about ordering dinner. We all have "inner fat girl" instincts for a... good burger! Let me say that this place was a hit! The patties are fresh and delicious! The onion rings are a perfect match forthe petty melt which is what I ordered. The order of onion rings was kind of small but delicious! The prices online aredefinitely different than what the menu in the restaurant has. Either way, the prices are reasonable! We didn't have the milkshakes although my co worker said they are great and a must have! So if you're in the area of Porter/kingwood/Humble you shouldvisit this little hole in the wall burger joint. It's been a long time since I've been here. Seems like the Patty's are now frozen not fresh, fried pickles are frozen not fresh.... The toppings were good, Frys were good. Not something I'm gonna be craving. Read more
This place has a lot of local atmosphere when you walk in. A place where you bump into neighbors. It has a vintage moms kitchen... vibe right down to the family pictures on the wall. The food on the table... The fried pickle spears and onion rings were thesuper stars on my plate . I enjoyed my chicken fried steak sandwich but it was missing seasoning. There was a chili cheeseburger too. It was swimming in chili and it looked like a small patty surrounded by bread and chili. I would not order it again.Nothing bad about the place. Nice small local spot where the service is phenomenal. There's cool items on the walls to check out and it's super clean which... is rare for a place that is decorated that way.
