A very quaint, family run Italian establishment. Plenty spacing and clean atmosphere. Definitely a place you can have intimate... conversations. The food, unfortunately, was mediocre. The trio appetizer was obviously frozen items. Our party of 4 agreed thechicken in all our meals were definitely frozen (which I know is not uncommon but you got to know how to cook it) and the sauceswere watery (Alfredo, the marina). Stopped by Friday night and had a very relaxing and nice first time experience. Eating alone can sometimes be awkward depending... on the restaurant and atmosphere, however, eating alone here was refreshing. The music was calming, the seating was very wellset up for social distancing, and food was great! To compare this quaint hometown restaurant to a large chain like Olive Gardenis unfair and not a compatible comparison. Nicole's Italian food was fresh and had it's own flair. The Salada Italiana wasexcellent, the garlic loaf was crunchy with cheese inside and had a perfectly paid olive oil for dipping, and the chickenparmagiana was thin sliced (not overly breaded or too heavy). Lastly the Tiramisu was without a doubt homemade and fresh. Thefull meal was excellent, the staff was kind and attentive, and the Resturant was adorable and clean. Update #3 since the owner wants a more detailed experience: We decided to dine here for a friends birthday dinner. It was a... Wednesday night. They had about 3 tables filled including our party, which was a total of 3 people. The atmosphere was prettyquiet. They sat us next to the kitchen, which probably explains the extreme heat we were experiencing. We started fanning ourfaces with paper that we had in our purses. The waiter saw it and turned on an electric floor fan. That definitely helpedsomewhat. We waved him down after 10 minutes to order drinks and an appetizer. My friends ordered a bottle of moscato and cheesebread. I ordered a bottle of red wine with fried calamari. The calamari was pretty good. They were a good size. Flavor wise thebatter was a little too thick for my liking. So we?re then ready to order our main dish, and again we waved the waiter downbecause it was ?obviously? extremely busy. We made our selections, I ordered the Marsala Veal which stated it was topped withwine sauce. My friend ordered the same. The birthday girl ordered the penne pasta with chicken in marinera sauce. The wait timefor the food wasn?t too bad. The food finally gets to the table, I automatically looked at my piece of veal in disappointmentbecause the ?wine sauce? looked like a thick layer of gravy. It had more peppers then meat. The ?gravy? was pretty bland. Themeat was over cooked to the point it was tough to chew. I only ate half and decided to take the other have home to show myhusband their version of veal dish. So the night continues we decide to order a slice of cake for the birthday girl. The sliceof cake was ok. Presentation of it was sloppy. We wave down the waiter third time now to bring our bill. We gracefully paid andtipped without making a big deal on the service or food. This restaurant has a cozy vibe and everything was clean. However, the portions were rather small for the prices. I ordered the... tortellini, which was delicious. However, it was over $13 and the portion size was very small. My friend ordered chicken Alfredoand her meal was the same size as mine. Many reviews claim that the portions are generous, so I was disappointed in that regard. Read more
