Literally the worst Wendy?s in portage. The woman who took our order had an attitude right off the bat then had the audacity to... mess up our order. They forgot our chicken nuggets, gave us a random sandwich we didn?t order , & didn?t put bacon on my burger.Keep in mind it was just two biggie bags I ordered. I would call but they?re too lazy to answer the phone. I don?t like tocomplain but literally how can you mess up something so simple?! Read more
If you are reading this take an extra 5 minutes and drive to the Wendy's on Willowcreek. I once waited 5 minutes behind three... cars in drive thru realizing I was not moving so I went to the Wendy's on Willowcreek, ordered, received my food and drove bythe Wendy's on Route 6, the car in front of me was at the speaker ordering food. Sometimes this Wendy's is fast and has goodcustomer service but is it worth wasting time to find out. If you are patient then give it a try. Today was the worst. I waitedat the speaker for 8 minutes to be told when they finally asked what I wanted they did not have any frostys. Not having thefrostys was not the problem, waiting 8 minutes to be told they did not have any. On a 90 degree day when you have no frostys Iwould suggest you put up a sign. Always out of everything. Good luck getting a baked potato, ever. Also if you order a $5 biggie bag you?ll still have to pull up... and wait 10 mins even if you?re the only car in the drive thru. They were out of bbq last night too. Worst Wendy?s in the area. Read more
Stopped in for a breakfast sandwich this morning with my son and the lady was not very pleasant. I am not a morning person... either so I really didn?t mind the attitude. I was the only car in line so I figured it should be quick but if not my food wouldbe at least fresh. Well I waited 10 min for food that was ice cold and old . My cheese was not melted on the breakfast sandwichthe breakfast fries were hard and cold. I am really confused what in the world was I waiting for if your going to push out oldand cold food . Got a large Frosty from here recently. I enjoyed the top quarter of it, then dropped off the rest of it to my wife at work. ... Later on, a few bites in, she notices an odd taste. When she dumps it in the trash, she discovers why: a wad of used chewinggum in the bottom of the cup. I sent a notice to corporate telling them about the incident, but I never got a response. WhenI've had issues with other locations (seems to be once every 2-3 years), I hear back from the general manager. That tells methat this particular store doesn't care that they have disgusting people preparing food for the public. So I am not going tovisit this location ever again. There's another location a couple of miles north on Willowcreek just before Central. I've notvisited that one yet, but if you really want Wendy's while in Portage, I strongly suggest going there instead. Better yet,Culver's is also a couple of doors down. Read more
The food was fresh, hot and my grands are picky. These are the only chicken nuggets they will eat! The lady was really nice to... us, and I appreciated the courtesy extended. As a result of how we were treated, I recommend this place, and will return forfood when I take my grandchildren to the movies near this Wendy's location. Read more
I mean it?s Wendy?s I don?t expect much but the service was sad. I came in at 6:30 for some spicy nuggets (my fave).... Unfortunately I waited at the counter for about 2 minutes before anyone noticed me. There was no one in the restaurant but acouple sitting down eating. The girl approached me saying , ?did you need something?? And I said, ?yes I?d like to ORDER.? Whyelse would I be standing at the counter? The manager on duty (white woman) was clearly angry. Hands down the worse service ever!!! Waited 40 minutes in the drive through line without so much a whisper. I only stayed... because I had placed the order online, and there was no way to cancel it. When I got my food, it was cold and greasy. On top ofall that, they had a long hair person working the drive in playing with his hair. Then taking cups scooping ice, without thescoop mind you, serving drinks. Never have to worry about ever going to this Wendy's again!! Read more
