Great food and service. Only downside is the pricing has gone up. Shouldnt be $18 for 1 persons lunch. It's still just a sub.

I was sad when the Merrillville Firehouse Subs closed. It's good stuff. Hot tasty sandwiches and good soups. It's along the line... of a Quiznos, if those exist any longer. A big step up from Subway, but a similar concept. The atmosphere pays homage tofiremen. A bit pricey a medium, soup and a drink topped $20. Read more

Ordered a steak and cheese sub which comes with onion and bell pepper. Added x-onion, x cheese and x- meat. Also requested A-1... sauce. Received very little onion and bell pepper. No x cheese and no A-1. I'll never eat there again! Read more

I really love their subs, but don't be in a rush!!!! My son and I waited 20+mins for 2 small subs. We were the only two that... placed an order and they took the lions share of time to make them. Aside from all that, I wish I had taken a pic of my sub. Itlooked horrible. It wasn't even centered on the bread, and bread looked like they broke it in half. I'm so disappointed. Read more

Not worth the money. The subs taste good, but they are TINY! $13 for a sandwich that is smaller than my hand w/ chips & drink.... There are much better options out there where you'll at least feel like you're getting a respectable amount of food for whatyou're paying. Read more

Maybe it's just a couple lackluster experiences, but I feel like the greatness of this place has gone down some. The sandwiches... are just kinda thrown together, and something seems different. Again, maybe just a bad couple experiences, if it changes with mynext visit I'll update my review. Oh... and please, Firehouse, bring back the sauces! It was a signature experience! Read more

This place has the best sandwiches in town hands down. Great service, they sell the pickle buckets, and ask if these places... donate to their local fire stations which is pretty cool too. Place makes subway look like garbage and even Jimmy John's can'ttouch this place. Read more
