We stopped here to eat while hungry on a road trip. It was tricky to get to from the highway (a lot of looping around), but it... was so worth it. The burgers were excellent and enough for two meals. They also have different fries. I got the truffle frieswhich were good, and we also had the Cajun fries which were our favorite of the two. I wish we lived closer and could come hereregularly! Food was fantastic! Waitress was spot on came back to check on us, got drinks without having to chase her down. Cheese curds and... the Fried pickles where just as good. Little pricey but the amount of food you get was great. For 3 of us with a appetizer andnot including a tip was about 68 bucks. So...take it for what it is. Great food, and service, oh and like to mention thebathroom was clean!!!!. Also like to give a thanks (and I hope they see this), thanks for not blaring the TV or music. A littlemusic is good but the moment I have to start yelling to have a conversation, game over. Region Ale in Schererville, good foodand service but the moment they have a band there the music is so dang loud its not longer enjoyable. Keep it up guys!! We willbe back!! Read more
Food is really good, very impressed with the burgers, fries are good too. A bit pricey for a burger joint though. 60 bucks for... lunch for 2 so I wouldn't go all the time but good enough I'll be back there for sure. Read more
We are so glad we found this place based off of a google recommendation. The burgers and sandwiches are delicious here. The... hand-cut fries are a plus and The atmosphere is inviting and warm. The staff is welcoming and make you feel at home! We weretold they don?t have a freezer and everything is made fresh! Next time you?re in the area make sure you make a stop in andvisit! Read more
The food and service was so good. They make their own condiments that were very good as well. They offer a variety of... handcrafted burgers, soups, salads, and sandwiches. All burgers came with one side. You had tons of side choices. My favoritewas the Garlic Parmesan French Fries. They were delicious! The family and I were on a weekend trip and found this gem in a really awesome area of town!! The staff were very welcoming... when we arrived and the kids loved sitting near the huge windows watching people/traffic go by. They have a huge drink selectionto chose from...I would suggest Ace pineapple cider for a sweet drink. The food was amazing and the kids wouldn't stop talkingabout how great the fries tasted. I enjoyed my experience at Big Time, it was located in a small (newly built) community center in Portage with an unassuming... front and comfortable bar and separate seating area. It was clean, well managed, the serving staff was polite and on-top-of-itand the food?wow, the true selling point of this restaurant. I don?t typically take pictures of my sandwhiches but this one wasworthy of capturing time. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, you won?t be disappointed! My chicken sandwich was soflavorful, the chicken was moist, the breading light and crunchy and the hot honey glaze complimented the spicy seasoning soperfectly.
