Reviews for Happy Wok in Port Wentworth, GA
Calling in to place the order, the phone was laid down to take someone's order who walked in the door, not happy about that. So... when I got there I placed my order and it took a little longer than what she told me when other people had come in and gottheir's. My crowd enjoyed the food and that is all I cared about. The service should be better though. Read more
Ordered takeout on Saturday. Had Sesame chicken, Hot & Sour soup, egg roll, spring rolls, Crab Rangoon, & Vegetable Fried rice.... Soup, egg roll & spring rolls were ok. With the exception of the dipping sauce that something was floating in Crab Rangoon wasfried in old grease. We could taste it. Vegetable Fried rice was so-so. It needed soy sauce. We didn't have soy sauce, forks, nocondiments at all. Sesame chicken my dog wouldn't eat it either. rice might have been good if we'd had some so soy sauce Read more
Loved the food, reasonable waiting time (I don't think we waited for more than 10 mins) it was delicious and rather affordable,... sweet & sour chicken FTW! A very convenient location just minutes from the 95th. The only thing I would like is to have the takeout boxes on display, while reading the menu I only had a vague idea as of how small was small and how large was large, sure Icould've asked but my brain was so numb with hunger. We bought large portions of three items in the menu, for three peoplebarely above 5 ft tall, and it was more tan enough...not a complain mind you. Before coming here consider that they adjusted forthe pandemic, everything is to go. Read more
Best Chinese I?ve ever had and I?ve been to a couple of other restaurants this is by far the best. The EGG ROLLS ARE SO GOOD! Food is always fresh and hot never had a bad experience Read more
I am conflicted, as my wok order of Singapore Noodles was excellent. Shrimp Toast was the BEST I've ever had, perfectly fried,... moist and crispy in just the right way. However, the pork fried wontons were difficult. Chewy yellow wrapper, unchewable meat.Either days old before they were cooked, or way overcooked. A chewy mess that after trying two of the wontons, had to spit outjust in case it was old. No plans to drive out again in the rain to attempt a trade in. Read more
It?s pretty great!! Food is great and fast. The staff isn?t that friendly but I didn?t mind, because of the good food. The... place reminds me of a hometown hangout spot, but isn?t as packed. Hidden gem. Read more
Decent food. Not the best but it will do for the area since there seem to be no good Chinese Restaurants around. Pretty clean... inside and out. Food was ready really fast and there was no wait. Small seating area for dine in that looked clean as well. Iwould return to eat again Read more
Portion sizes were generous and the lo mein was incredible but I didn't love the fried rice.
