I moved from Port Washington NY, 5 years ago and I just want to say that your taste bbq is truly unique as I remembered it. Not... too many places like that ! It is awesome to know that texas flavor does last a little something against your places for over30 years! I was one of Jehovah's Witnesses but because of Texas state bbq about it, no longer is it that way. My new spiritualexperience rests on eat to live all over again! Read more

How and what to eat Hickory?s: Definitely order something BBQ, or smoked, my favorite is the... grilled chicken because it?s consecutively the juiciest grilled chicken I?ve ever eaten in my life, nothing else matches itslevel. The fries are all handmade from fresh potatoes on site make your car smell like Heaven. I recommend take-out, andbringing your food to Sunset Park to eat by the water. 10/10 experience every time. Brisket was like dog food. I do pest control so I?m all over the island right now looking for bbq for a few weeks and for the... past three I?ve been trying to find the best brisket. This one was my least favorite. The review about driving 200+ miles forthere brisket it 100% cap if you want a good brisket go to Smok haus they have better sides to. Looking to try something new and decided on bbq without having to travel to the Bronx. The platters are good for two people so I... ordered a combination of platters to feed 6 adults, which allowed me to sample the chicken, pulled pork, and ribs. I alsoordered sides of chicken wings, sweet potato fries, and zucchini fries with cucumber dip. Two of the platters came with friesand cole slaw. I forgot which. One platter came with corn bread, which was not my favorite. The sweet potato fries weremediocre. Maybe better for dine-in option. The French fries were good and thick. The zucchini fries had a lot of breading for mytaste but the cucumber dip was good. I used it for the chicken wings as well. The wings were dry by the time I got to eat themthough. The ribs were great! Probably the best bbq meat. The 1/2 chicken was good. Wasn?t dried out. The pulled pork was goodtoo. Will definitely try the fish taco next time. Read more
