My time at two forks, in the wonderful village of port Stanley Ontario was a phenomenal experience? The hospitality at two forks... makes you feel like family from the moment you?re seated. The cocktails are diverse, clean, fresh, whimsical and playful. Thefights at two forks are well balanced and take you on a journey through the local craft IPA?s, lagers and ciders. I started mymeal with fresh oysters and jumbo shrimp. The 2 varieties of oysters were so well balanced and with the accompaniment of freshlygraded horse radish and lemon. I tasted the brininess of the oyster as the fresh radish dissolved into the clean oyster withincredible mouth feel. Don?t even get me started on the shrimp. These shrimp have the most fresh, clean taste with a texturethat can only be described a succulent and bright. The bread with warm, personal and is served with whipped butter andherbs. For the main I ordered the crispy duck. This dish was one to remember. The dark meat of the duck leg and thigh was sotender and unctuous with a crispy, crunchy exterior. The garlic, Gorgonzola dressing was to die for. I finished the meal with acheese course of bri, warm toasted almonds and ripe rhubarb. Port Stanley is a village of quaint eateries and locally sourcedrestaurants. 2 forks has reached a level of cuisine that is rare to find and is an amazing addition to this amazing food sceneof this village. There was a bit of a wait to get a table but it was well worth it! Met a lovely couple that frequents the restaurant and they... gave us rave reviews of the food and what we should order first. One of my all time favourite restaurants. There really are no words for the food except that you just need to experience it for... yourself. The ambiance & fresh menu is unreal. Highly recommend. Can?t wait to go back next time we?re in town! Read more
Sophisticated but casual atmosphere. Excellent food with beautiful presentation. The locally crafted pottery was gorgeous. Great... craft beer menu. We enjoyed the duck wings and pulled beef tacos along with flights of craft beer and wine. Not cheap but worthit! Read more
Great spot to have your dinner. Good clean food. The patio is awesome ????...the tree coverage makes you feel indoors. With... the ambient lights and heaters you can nearly forget its winter. Two Forks - Your boy was out near #portstanley yesterday for a work gig and had to hit up some local eats. Of course I didn't... dine alone and had some wonderful company to help gobble all these goodies up! We started with a home loaf and brussel sproutcaesar. The bread was good, but I'm still thinking about them brussel sprouts! Yum! Next came our mains: striploin with mushroomrisotto and hand cut fries. Followed by shrimp and scallop spaghetti. You know I'm a pasta and seafood fan so I was reallydigging that. Unfortunately our steak had a bit too much connective tissue which made it sinewy. Oh well, you can't win emall. We ended with their famous fried butter tarts (so good) and I washed down the entire meal with a few pints of@heritagehopsbrewco IPA.
