On a whim we got takeout from here. Brisket, pulled pork, jalapeno-pineapple sausage, cowboy beans, collards, mac & cheese and... potato salad. Meats were all very well smoked though there was no pineapple flavor in the otherwise excellent sausage. Potatosalad was incredible. Beans were definitely better than just good. Service was outstanding. We annually vacation near there andwill add a meal of The Smokehouse on Cape San Blas to our planning menu next year!! (But we'll probably get enough to haveleftovers for another meal!) Read more
Stopped in bc I wanted ribs but found they only serve ribs on Friday and Saturday. I was disappointed but ordered a pulled pork... sandwich and Brunswick stew instead. Everything we ordered even the kids chicken and Mac n cheese was very delicious!! I am notbig on BBQ but I was impressed and we would definitely eat here again. Went last night ordered brisket (marbled and lean) not exactly sure what we got. Also ordered ribs. Nothing had any flavor and... tasted old. Could have been because we went right before closing. But while i was there they were pushing in a fresh cart ofmeats. Figured since it was late they would have just gave us the fresh meats. $77 completely down the drain. Wasn?t edible itwas so old it was almost like i was eating day old left overs. Very unacceptable they would serve that. The brisket wasbasically fat sliced for us. You can see from the pictures that it is not fresh!! Also I?m sure all you are gonna reply to thisis sorry, but sorry doesn?t bring back my ruined dinner or my $77. If you wouldn?t eat it you should definitely not serve it toyour guests. Read more
Everything about this place is awesome. Hands down the best food in the Cape. So glad we stopped in. Extremely new and clean... design of the place. Quick and friendly service. Great menu and the food was outstanding. Brisket moist and delicious, ribswere big and perfectly cooked. Loved the mustard BBQ sauce. Oh and the FRIED CHICKEN. YES! PLEASE! Got to love cornbreadslathered in honey butter I ate it all up. We will be back very soon. Probably in a couple days. Don't leave the Cape withoutstopping in the Smokehouse! Food was great. Service was fast. I had the brunswick stew and mac n cheese. Both were great. Wife had the bbq nachos with pork... (no tomatoes). Big plate. She said the pork had a really good smoke flavor. Will definitely be back. Read more
Awesome food. Great place for a quick stop on the way to or from the Cape. Located perfectly near the intersection of 30A and... 30E (Cape San Blas Rd.) Very convenient. I love the fast casual style of ordering at the counter and them bringing the plates toyour seat. I have learned to really appreciate self serve drink fountains in Florida. You never have to wait on a drink whenit's hot, just go get it. Brilliant! My favorite were the brisket and cornbread doughnuts. Ribs were on point too. Liked the bbqpork, and the sides were typical bbq fare, good flavor, fresh, and ample. I'm a big guy and got the 2 meat combo and 2 sides, couldn't finish the whole meal. The heavenly aroma of smoke is in the air but the place is well air conditioned and the drinkstation and condiment staion is clean and well stocked. Welcome to CSB/PSJ! WELL DONE GUYS. Read more
I ended up coming the day they reopened! The staff is very nice and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back!
This brisket was the bomb. Some of the best I?ve ever had. We went when they first opened so I assume it was fresh. It was super... juicy and the seasoning blend was awesome. Also, the fries aren?t anything ?special? but they were cooked perfectly. My husbandreally liked the white cheddar Mac and cheese which I thought was fine. Sweet tea is pretty good too?and that?s coming from aformer sweet tea addict. Would 10000% go again and order just brisket and be happy. Read more
