The waitresses need fired, the food needs an overhaul, and the cooks need better training. It's only a matter of time before... this dump closes for good. Read more

Of course I give 5 stars because this is literally my favorite restaurant! The Brisket is amazing, the Cobb Salad is awesome,... (and I am picky about salads) the Ribs are terrific and both their regular and spicy sauces are yummy! The Baked Beans arereally close to what my Grandma made and that is the best compliment anyone could ask for. ;) Yes, they are expensive, howeverI'm ok with paying for old-fashioned cooking that I know I will enjoy. I've paid higher prices elsewhere for food thatdisappointed. You live, you learn. I absolutely love their apple pie. Loved it SO much the first time I had a slice, that I noworder the whole pie, just to have it for family visits. :) Read more

This place has gone down hill. The burger was only decent but the appetizers were of frozen store-bought quality. Too expensive... given the concessions. Read more

So disappointed at this place. Food took a while but I?m willing to wait for good food. Getting your order messed up on the most... basic things is not cool. I had to go in to order because the kids menu was not available for take out. After I got my food themost important food (kids) was burnt and inedible. The pics say it all? not to mention forgotten sauce that?s on the receipt?.The worst pat is my wife tried to eat her food unlike me and our daughter and found a hair in her burger. Extremely disappointed Read more

My husband and I have been supporters of this restaurant for the last four years - even through COVID - when it was open for... business. It used to be one of our favorite restaurants that serves ?home style comfort food?: great food, reasonable prices, great service, no fuss no muss. It is no longer the case and we are really disappointed. The food quality has consistently gonedownhill for the last year and very obviously so for the past six months; constantly understaffed (often only one waitressworking the entire dining room). Prices went way up. After multiple tries for the last six months, I think we have (sadly)made our last visit last week. This is beyond the ?Great Resignation and unprecedented inflation? madness we are allexperience?but $72 dinner for two with NO alcoholic, no appetizers, no salad, no desserts!? We had: - Full rack of ribs: $32.We intended to take half home. We have to - the ribs were so tough! It was like the cook forgot to cook them and threw them onthe BBQ too late. Thin brown layer of BBQ sauce with grayish meat; it was ?stupid ribs?!! I need to wrap and stick?em in theoven to cook for another hour to tenderize the rest. Come on! - One baked potato: $7. The ribs do not come with any sides. $7 is Ruth?s Chris Steak House pricing of a SMALL baked potato! I grow potatoes in the garden and this is not a large potato. I don?t know how one justifies that price (butter only, BTW. Not fully loaded.) BTW if you prefer a small dish of cole slaw asa side, $6. - Small Appetite (ie half order) fish & chips: $16. Two large fish-stick size cod. Fries. Cole slaw. This wasvery tasty. I can live with paying $16 for this entree. - Two iced tea: $3 each. Totally reasonable price. - One flavoredlemonade and one iced tea from another table got added to our tab. We were so frustrated by the repeat disappointments that wejust paid for the beverages and left. That was $6. ?Whatever?.let?s go.? - We tipped 10%, plus tax. Read more

I had a half rack of ribs and my wife had chicken hind quarters. My side was smoked Mac & cheese, wife's was baked beans. We... both loved the food. Service was friendly and efficient. The price wasn't too bad. Tad high, but everything is nowadays. We boththoroughly enjoyed our meals. Read more

Not a bad place off the beaten path. All the food was good and didn't taste like busy restaurant. Prices are a little high and... decor little drab but over we'll come back and Bourbon Pecan Pie was perfect to finish the night off. Staff was very friendly. Read more
