Week old food being served. Bbq meat was terrible. Hamburger was served with still frozen meat. Will not be going back.

Went on a fishing trip with a friend and before leaving town stopped by, we both got a sampler plate and a few sides. The... brisket and pork belly were the best I've ever had Sausage is kinda just sausage lol but also as good as it possibly gets.Server was friendly and wait time was short. Highly reccomend. This place is the bomb. I went there on a Saturday at 7 and at that point, it was transitioning to a small bar scene. Alan is... the chef/owner and he has a good thing going. I stopped in expecting to try some bbq of the day, but the special of the day wasblackened redfish. Yes please. Alan hooked it up. It was amazing and the side vegetable salad was also amazing. I will be backwhen I come in town to fish for sure. It is a small operation in a small town so you may want to call ahead before you go justto make sure the kitchen is open and to see what they have. Probably best place I?ve been in a while- definitely a regular ole hole in the wall in an old gas station but well worth... stopping in. I work all over Texas and try food and BBQ all over. This is by far one of the best- especially coastal. There?s afew decent places to eat around here but this will be my new go to when down here this way. *I got brisket and ribs both werepull apart and awesomely moist and flavorful. Potato salad was done proper. Mac and cheese was like homemade that I make at homeand have never found any to compare. Will come back. Read more
The best beef brisket ever. Fell off the fork without tasting over-cooked. Asked the proprietor how he did that. He said that... it took time and can?t be hurried.
