I am big on coffee and have been for years and I like to try it from different places and to support local shops. This was my... first time here with my friend and sadly, we weren't that impressed. It took us a minute to even find the place because therewasn't a sign anywhere of their logo or name. We had to match their address to Google maps. We ordered the maple bourboncoffee, iced with half and half and we didn't taste any maple bourbon flavor and it's like there was no sugar or flavor added.It was hard to drink. It honestly tasted like water downed coffee milk. You walked in and it smelt like burnt grease. Youdidn't get that coffee smell or bakery smell of fresh goodies like more coffee places. I'm guessing there wasn't a vent a fanfor when they were cooking but the grease kept lingering and now my hair and clothes smell bad from it. The grease smell wasgetting so bad we had to leave. There wasn't any music playing so we felt like we had to whisper when talking to each other.Overall the idea is great and a lot of people might love their coffee but for us it was a no go. We did order food for someoneelse to go and they said the food was great so that's a plus. I like how they had items from local shops in our area andsupport our community. It's nice to see that. The staff was friendly and welcoming which is always awesome to have. Thank youfor the experience! GO HERE YOU GUYS!!! The best coffee and tea ever and they make their syrups in house, as well as donuts. An amazing alternative... to boring old starbucks, and a great small business to support! (I highly recommend their lemon lavender donut its really goodand natural tasting.) Read more
