This is such a quaint and charming little place. The ambiance is lovely, with gentle jazz music playing in the background and... cozy intimate booths. I love the ramen with chashu and come back here often to have it. ?? Read more

We went for lunch thinking it was mainly a take out sushi, you don?t see inside so from the outside doesn?t look like a... restaurant, once you?re in its very pleasant and they are really friendly. Food was very good Read more

Murasaki Japanese restaurant was a lovely spot for an early dinner with my mom. As a vegan I really enjoyed having quite a few... options here! I enjoyed the dancing shiitake roll which was a mushroom based roll with a really interesting texture and sauce. Ialso had the tropical punch roll which had pineapple and mango and was very refreshing!! The server was nice and accommodating.I recommend for vegan sushi for sure! The chef also stopped by to ensure I liked it. Definitely recommend. Read more
We were in the area and stopped into Muraski Sushi for lunch. We ordered two "New" Dynamite Rolls, a California Roll, Crunch... Spicy Tuna Roll, California Roll and Prawn Tempura Combo, and the Kani Sake Tempura. Overall, decent sushi at a very good price. Our total bill was about $35 for all the food we ordered so we can't really complain. It did seem as though they might havepre-prepared the dynamite and california rolls considering the rice seemed a little stale. Read more
Been coming to this Japanese restaurant for quite some time now - mostly with the family. It?s a very nice and cozy restaurant... where you?ll be able to enjoy a nice 45 minute to an hour dinner. The service hasn?t been the most consistent; however, I?d sayit?s overwhelmingly positive. This time I ordered the BC Roll, Dynamite Roll, and some Tempura Prawns. Everything was very wellpresented and tasted delicious! Read more
while the california roll and udon we ordered was delicious I'm giving it a 1 because the salmon lover and the tonkatsu set was... a big disappointment. The salmon lover was okay to eat, but compared to other smoked salmon rolls I've ate, the flavour wasvery weak. It was like a fistfight if flavours between the cream cheese and the smoke salmon and jt ended in a draw and feltbland. For the tonkatsu, I would recommend everyone to steer away from it. The thickness of pork was thinly sliced that itwasn't even to the size of a chopstick thin end. I was tasting only the overcooked breadcrust and no texture of pork. Theweirdest thing was the way the tonkatsu was sliced thinly in the long side when it is supposed to be thick and on the shortside. The tonkatsu was falling through the holes of the grate that was served on top. That's not how tonkatsu should be. Itshould be thick and juicy and soft on the inside with a nice soft crunch on the outside. The saving grace for me was the saucehelped me digest it. But it's not just the tonkatsu that was bad. The rice was very bad. It was not sticky Japanese rice, itwas hard and lukewarm, like they left it in the cooker last night and just opened it up and served it to us. I can forgive themif it was very busy but we arrived at 11:30 when the store opened and we were the first guests into the restaurant for the day.How could they screw up that bad??? Maybe I'll visit it again but I'll avoid the tonkatsu. Read more
