My favorite donair and pizza place. **edit** Will have to downgrade from a 5 star to a 1 star review, went in on September... 21st, 2022 to get what was my favorite pizza a Bubba Donair pizza . The donair meat was like jerky, the cheese was completelydried out it had no stretchy goodness. The dough I had to tear off peices by bitting down and pulling. My jaw was sore aftereating it. We used to love ordering donairs and donair pizza from A-1 in Port Hawkesbury but not anymore. The bubba donair pizza we got... today was terribly disappointing. Way too overcooked and tough to chew, it was like eating pizza jerky. I don't know if it'sunder new management since we were here last (a year ago) but the quality has changed big time, please get better cooks! Read more

Fast & reasonably priced. But tasted horrible. Ordered a Hawaiian pizza, very little cheese and way too much pineapple. Sauce... was horrible, tasted like it came out of a can. Nothing compared to a year ago when I drove thru here. Called to confirm if itwas under new management because of the difference in taste & presentation. Was told it was same management. On top of A-1 customer service, their food is delicious, and priced well. Lots of choices on the menu. It was my first time... there, but certainly not my last. I traveled over an hour because it was recommended. Definitely worth the ride. Read more

A-1 has tasty pizza at an affordable price! The garlic fingers are really cheesy and delicious!!!

We've ordered takeout from A1 several times now and have been consistently impressed. The garlic fingers are great and the pizza... is always loaded with toppings and cooked just right.
