I was in town visiting friends and we decided on Chinese Food for Saturday night. Service on phone when placing order was... terrific...very friendly and efficient. It was a large order but it would be ready in twenty minutes. In a nutshell...all thefood was terrific, hot and delicious. Best chicken balls I have ever had and certainly the largest with huge chunks of chicken.Spring rolls, egg rolls, beef and broccoli, spare ribs, etc...all delicious. I wish we had something this quality in my area ofToronto. I also liked the quality packaging that kept the food hot and mess free during the ride to our house. One note...theydo not accept Visa. Tangs' kitchen has been my favourite Chinese food these past 5 years. They first opened in Shelburne, an hour and a half south... of Port Elgin, and I was a regular there. Nobody else compares to the quality, flavour, value, or portions of Tangs', and Imake the drive to Port Elgin to get my fix every so often. Seriously, best Chinese food in our area! Read more

Great quality Chinese food! I moved away a couple of years ago and came back to visit for the first time since - happy to see... that Tang?s kitchen is still just as delicious. I still dream of the cream cheese wontons regularly and have gotten some fromother restaurants but they?re never as good as Tang?s! Read more
We have been searching the area for good Chinese food and Tangs Kitchen is our new favorite. The service was awesome and supper... friendly. We ordered the chicken fried rice, the combination lo mien, chicken with mixed vegetables and beef with snow peas andbroccoli. I had a 30 minute drive home from this location and the food was still hot and steaming when we opened it. Everythingwas delicious. The vegetables were fresh and cooked perfectly and they do not skimp on the meat. It was a great meal and we willbe going back to Tang?s in the future. Read more
Update May 31/20 Thank you for reopening in these hard times! Ordered dinner for 3 and was blown away again by how good it was.... Glad you guys are back. Thanks Tangs. Finally a good Chinese restaurant in Port Elgin! I was a bit surprised by how high theirprices were but it looks like they lowered them since. I ordered 2 take out meals and both tasted amazing! Very fresh and fullof flavor and for a great price. I also enjoyed that they put the sauce for the chicken on the side so it doesn't get mushy.Will definitely be back. Read more
This new Chinese restaurant is a great spot for take out! The food is excellent and there is plenty of it! We ordered a dinner... for four and there was enough for lunch for two the next day! It is very reasonably priced as it worked out to be $11 per personif you included the two of us that had leftovers the next day! The owners/staff were very courteous and pleasant! They really know their food and are very careful with gluten free service. I really appreciate their food knowledge!
