Wow! We ordered a bunch of take out food for dinner and it was all scrumptious! BBQ ribs were moist and flavorful. Steamed... shrimp were cooked perfectly, shells fell right off and they were a decent size. Sweet potato fries were flavorful without anyextra sugar or seasonings. The pulled pork sandwich was huge, stacked full of pork on a delicious roll. The pit ham sandwich hadgenerous thick slices of ham that had a nice smoked flavor. The corn fritters were so sweet and moist they were almost a desert!Two reasons why we did not give Old South a 5 ? rating were... the pieces of cornbread (delicious) were a 1" square in two ofthe dinners. Stopped here yesterday for the first time. Half price burgers on Thursday. It was ok. I'd give 3.5 stars if possible. Ambiance... was cool. Service was nice. Food was hot. Sweet potato fries were delicious. The burger wasn't the best. Tasted like a cheapfrozen patty. We'll most likely go again and try something besides a burger. Read more

Absolutely fantastic. Went in to eat and was sat right away. First time here and was not disappointed at all. The waitress was... very friendly and attentive. Food was very good. It was moist, tender and plentiful. I had the "tripple play" and even had totake some home. Plenty of parking even if you're driving a commercial vehicle. Read more

I went here after visiting Plumpton Zoo and it was pretty good ( West River BBQ is still number one for me). Delicious homemade... BBQ sauce, brisket ( alittle tough). Pig tail fries were frozen, not fresh, bun had a weird taste to it but hushpuppies wereoutstanding! Very friendly waitress!! $27 for appetizer and meal. Read more

What a surprise! Stopped in on a Friday around 3 pm and only a few folks there. Service was prompt and seated right away. Server... was super nice and friendly. The food was top notch! Haven?t had ribs like that since Mississippi! Portions were good and wecouldn?t finish our servings. Price was pretty normal. Positive experience for us for sure and will go back again!
