We stopped on a Sunday on our drive home from the Baltimore area. Always like to get some crab while we are in MD. Our... waitress was great, the food was good, I had the stuffed shrimp and enjoyed it. It was a rainy day so the crowd was minimaland we sat inside almost by ourselves. Looks like it will be a hopping place when the BBQ grill is going. If you can't standworn out tiles on the floor then don't go there. I will visit again for sure. Read more
Great service at the bar. With really affordable lunch specials. Had the perfect broiled crabcake as well as pit turkey and the... crab pretzel. I would show pics but I ate the food way too fast. We found this place while driving back to NJ from DC and boy were we pleased. Right off the main road, the lady was so welcoming... because we had our dog with us. She set up tables for us and got us refreshers since we?d been on the road a while. She madegood food recommendations and we were very happy with our meal. Friendly family atmosphere and freshly made crab cakes, fishsandwiches and so on. They even came out toddlers some stickers to keep him busy. Took a close friend there for his birthday. We got cream of crab soup, Maryland crab soup Crab cakes, seafood platter and... birthday boy got crab Mac and cheese. The food was better than expected. Haven't been here in years, decided to have a family dinner out and give it another whirl. Being that this time of year is out... of season for most of the seafood, they still have plenty of land options. It is on the pricer side; however they do have largerportions. I had the fish and chips, they were huge filets and crispy. I will admit, they were seasoned with quite a bit withsalt. The coleslaw was yummy, could have had a bowl of it. My hubby had the belly buster cheeseteak, which it was huge! Packedwith meat and toppings. He was very pleased with it. My dad had the stuffed shrimp which he said was very good. Our daughterwent with a hotdog. The kids menu prices are great, not over priced like you usually find. It is that old school bar set up withcafeteria style dining area, all open with tables. What can I say other than the most friendly staff EVER! The crabs were not the best but it?s not really peak season, and the... cook added a few extra to our dozen because of such. We also had pit beef sammiches which were incredibly HUGE, and a half poundof steamed shrimp: oh and can?t forget a few tasty Bloody Mary?s. I did remove one star and hate doing so but Wow were there alot of flies! I thought for a minute there I was dining in a cow pasture!!!! Was my first visit here, was decent. I liked the baby back ribs...had better ribs but had worse to...I would recommend you try... it for yourself...the hot roast beef sandwich looked very good. Read more
Great food. The cheese steak sub was massive and good quality, the crab stuffed mushroom appetizers were good too. Easy parking... lot. Got to see some great live Bluegrass from Danny Paisely and the Southern Grass. On the side closest to the road they have adining area in the back and then a bar and some pool tables at the front and middle. Didn't go to the other side but did seeoutdoor seating. A great small town vibe, it was great to be back home. Read more
