Yesterday, 10/20/22, was our first visit to Granite Run Taproom. It was a surprise visit, as we had a reservation for 16 at... Lee?s Landing for a wedding rehearsal dinner which had been confirmed since 8/31/22. As we arrived as Lee?s, they had closed forthe season and disregarded our reservation completely with no notice. We immediately looked for other options in the area andcalled Granite Run Taproom, as they were one of the closest places to Lee?s and were open. We were told that there was no issueaccommodating our party, even at the last minute, so we came to Granite Run as a group of 16 for dinner. We were satimmediately and our server Diana was on point getting us waters and putting in our drink order. Drinks came out quickly and ourfood order was taken, both appetizers and entrees. The appetizers came out hot and fresh; the cream of crab soup was excellentand the nachos and wings were a hit. There was a very slight delay in bringing out entrees for our large party, but as aprevious bar manager and server, the timing is very hard to nail down for a party this large with other tables seated and alsowaiting for food. This was no issue for us as we were having a great time listening to Jules Jams open mic night, which wasabsolutely fantastic. Shout out to Jules for taking requests and being amazing entertainment during our meal. We could not havebeen happier with the service from Diana, the bar service for drinks, and who I believe to be the manager helping run food andensure a happy rehearsal dinner experience. From the last minute accommodations, to the great drinks and food, and fabulousmusic and service, I could not recommend Granite Room Taproom enough. We will definitely be back. Read more
Sat outside on the patio. As with everything in Port Deposit, it was on a slope. The food was quite good. Servers were moving... fast. The band was excellent. Parking in Port Deposit is limited, but there are some lots available. Bring your smallest carthough. Read more

Great Beer Selection . Love the option of ordering a beer flight. not a big fan of the spiked iced tea but rest was great. The... Burger that I ordered to go along with the beer was probably one of the best i have tasted in recent years. All at veryreasonable prices. Read more
This is such a neat place! The building is old and has great charm. The staff was really friendly, good beers on tap, and really... good food. The smoked wings are SO GOOD! I had them with the beer cheese and bacon tots...also soooo good. Both sauces (the beercheese and the Granite run buffalo garlic sauce) are thinner sauces - really delicious! I note their consistency because on thetots it doesn't look like cheese sauce, but it soaks them and is lighter (and better, in my opinion) than traditional cheesesauces. The Taproom has very friendly staff and a welcoming, casual atmosphere. We had the shrimp and grits and a chicken bacon ranch... quesadilla, and both meals were delicious! The drinks were also very good - try the Pink Lemonade Spritzer if you like a sweet(but not too sweet) cocktail. Can't go wrong with the orange crushes either! They also had live music courtesy of the JulesRiser Band, a talented trio of musicians playing covers of classic rock songs. Read more
Enjoyable late afternoon lunch with the family. Wait staff was very attentive and the beer list was solid. The pretzel was great... and the Shishito pepper appetizer was unique. Burger and fries, cheesesteak, and salad were good. Definitely worth stopping inif you find yourself in Port Deposit. Read more
This place is amazing! We had a scheduled a rehearsal dinner at Lee's landing originally but they decided to close for the... season without even letting us know that our reservation was cancelled, but Granite Run was about to accommodate our party of 16on short notice! The food was amazing and the place had a great atmosphere with live music. And even with no notice about ourparty and only having one server on a Thursday afternoon, the service was amazing! Definitely turned our night from a hugedisappointment into one to be remembered! Read more
