Excellent experience dining in on a Saturday night. Party of eight celebrating a birthday. All had a great time! We shared 2x... calamari for two as an appy and each had mains. Everything was delicious & filling. Highly recommend the Roasted Lamb & BakedLasagna. The food was prepared quickly. Pita was great, salad was great. Meat was decent. My biggest issue was the tzatziki tasted like... really cheap store bought kind (Costco has better stuff) and the hummus wasn?t hummus. The calamari was very cheaply made andover cooked. This is our first time visiting this restaurant and compared to all other Greek restaurant, this is the best that I've been to.... Service was far beyond excellent, the waitress and the owner were very nice. One thing that I've realized was the operation. Itseems that the owner doesn't like to take in too many guest, so the staff can have more time and care for the tables they areserving and the chef have enough time to focus on each dishes and serve high quality food. The dishes we ordered are fantastic.The food were very well cooked and displayed. The roasted lamb was far beyond delicious, it was very tender. As for the Greekrib, you are able to get meat off the bone easily. I love how the taste of food were all very balanced, unlike any other Greekfood' the lamb or meat were all heavy marinated. We've also ordered spanakopita, and saganaki. Personally I wasn't a big fan ofgoat cheese, but after tasting it with the pita, I've immediately fell in love. The burst of the cheese with pita, the combinedflavor was amazing. I'm very amazed how they've made the spanakopita non-greasy taste. I've always ordered this dish whenever Iwent to any Greek restaurant, this is the best I've ever tried. Overall, you're able to taste the fresh ingredient, and highquality food with large portion and decent price. The atmosphere of this restaurant is very comfortable, because it is notcrowded and you are able to enjoy the food while having the conversation with your friends or family in normal voice volumeinstead of the need to raising your voice under crowded and noisy restaurant. We had an event at Sparta for 35 people; it exceeded my expectations from planning to the actual event. Natalia, the owner, was... fantastic to work with. Excellent communication, reasonable pricing, great menu options and flexible with all the extralittle requests that popped up. On the night of the event our servers, Marta and Emma, were great. The food was hot, fresh,tasty and came out in a timely manner. Portions were very generous. I would highly recommend Sparta Greek Taverna and Pizza fora dinner out or an organized group gathering. We love it here! The service is friendly and accommodating. The menu offerings are varied and all well prepared and delivered....
