One word for this place it is absolutely the best mix of Asian food and sushi all around town! I have been to different places... for Asian food and sushi but nothing tops it like here. The fish is always so fresh every time we’ve come in. This is now our5th or 6th time coming in and it has not disappointed yet. Oh and don’t even get me started on the curry and the pineapplefried rice. The pineapple fried rice is the perfect mix of sweet and salty and the pineapple is always so good. The curry isalso another dish that has a mix of sweet and spicy with a tiny hint of coconut not to much to the point it’s over bearing butit’s just enough and never too spicy. The staff up front is also really helpful and always asks and asks again if we needanything while we’re waiting. The food is worth the wait!! If you ever need are in need of a place with Asian food or sushithis is the place to go. Read more

Acceptable. Great in some ways, needs improvement in others. We did take out last night, I had the Tofu Green Curry, my wife... had the Tofu Mae Fun, and we split a Gandhi roll (We are vegan). The green curry was superb, the Mae Fun was good, but my wifedescribed the wide flat noodles she wanted, and this dish looks more like Angel hair. The Gandhi roll was great aswell. Tonight, we went back in for some dine-in. We started with the Buddha roll (vegan), which was pretty good. It wasinteresting that the server did not have any knowledge of the vegan rolls, claiming he'd worked there for 2 years and had neverheard of them. Since we had ordered one of them the night before we were pretty sure they had them, and asked him to check withhis management. Sure enough, they were a part of the menu. Not wanting to mess with perfection, I ordered the tofu green curryagain, and it did not disappoint. My wife asked for a vegan Pad Thai, with Tofu instead of meat, and no egg, normal level ofspiciness. It was quite bland, with no perceptible heat, and no peanut flavor. Someone else in our party ordered the regular(non-vegan) Pad Thai, which had the heat level and peanut taste expected, so it was something specific to my wife's dish. Shesplit the tofu green curry with me, and we took home her pad thai to heat up and fix up for lunch the next day. All-in-all, asolid 4 for the area, and we'll probably head back next time we visit Port Charlotte, but we will certainly do some research tosee which other vegan options exist. Read more

Food much better then the strip mall Chinese stores. Sushi is very good. Chicken with broccoli portion seemed small was glad I... upgraded to the lomein. But I might not have adjusted to new sizes and pricing everywhere has. Overall was a decent value forthe money and good flavor. Read more

Bamboo has quickly become one of our favorite food spots in Port Charlotte. We are not local to the area (from NJ) and I will... say it’s hard to find good tasting Asian food in Florida or at least on this side. If you’re looking for genuinely tastyAsian food look no further! They have a great variety of different dishes from sushi to pad Thai to poke bowls and more. Thefood is always super fresh and presented beautifully. The ambiance is calm and soothing with a touch of elegance. The staffmembers are very polite and always make sure everything is okay.
