Food is actually pretty good, but at checkout, you are forced to leave a tip. I don't mind tipping wait staff since they take... orders, deliver food, and keep the drinks refilled. My experience was actually not at I Heart Mac and Cheese, but instead next door at Antro Bar on Jimmy Johnson in Port Arthur,... Texas. Amid a little mixed up with waitstaff, the GM Troy came over and made my virgin experience here worth while. The drinkswere great and the wings are excellent. Troy is a Godsend. This was our first time to try this. It was great!!!! We tried a Mac bowl, a grilled cheese and a combination of both. We did... build your own and one of their signature bowls. All was good and we would definitely go again. As far as the service it wasexceptional. Christian F. was polite, friendly, quick and thorough with his service for us. I run a full service restaurant inNew Orleans and good staff members right now are really hard to find. I Heart Mac & Cheese is lucky to have him. The establishment was clean and the staff was friendly. The food was at par for what I thought but the cookies were amazing.

The staff are super sweet and walked us thru the menu since we have never been there. The food was good but it is crazy... expensive. We ordered one mac n cheese bowl combo and one Cuban grilled cheese combo and it was 32.00 just for 2 people to eat.Was hoping it would be a once a week lunch date place but the food is not $32.00 good. What a great little place to grab lunch or even dinner. We tried the Cuban grilled cheese the Bacon loves tomato grilled cheese... the Best of both worlds grilled cheese and the classic Mac Bowl. If i remember correctly the manager on duty said their are onlyabout 10 of these nation wide and the company formed in 2016. They are looking for areas to expand. This location has beenopened for about 2 months from what i remember him saying. They are currently offering dine in or carry out following theCovid19 Guidelines. They are friendly and very helpful to you if you have never given them a try. I would definitely recommendto drop by and give them a try.
