Grossly overrated. There was nothing enjoyable about this restaurant. The decor looked like it was from the 1980?s. The coffee... was watery and lacked any richness. The food had absolutely no flavor and was prepared with no seasoning. Over priced and underflavored. Nice presentation, though. Save your money. Read more

This cute restaurant was wonderful! We had the crème brûlée and apple French toast, they were delicious! Portion was huge. We... also ordered the Irish cream latte with whip cream on top and we loved it!! The whip cream tasted like expresso coffee?.so good!Service was also great, very friendly and attentive staff. A must go to if your staying in the area. We went back again forbreakfast. Ordered the crepes with fruit and the scramble with Brie and bacon. Delicious!! Viennese latte was also really good!Suzanne was our waitress for the two days and she was wonderful!! Read more

We came into a quaint fun little place and were immediately sat in a very cozy, comfortable atmosphere. Extremely welcoming... staff and the place is just adorable! This however was just the tip of the iceberg. After ordering they immediately brought ourbaked goods out and they were out of this world. The muffins were actually dense, delicious muffins, not mini cakes. Thecinnamon roll had a delectable caramel sauce on top and the coffee was even fresh and amazing. After an amazing start it justkept getting better. We had pancakes for the kids. Incredible French toast, a quiche that was on point and an amazing scramble. All that being said, I still feel it's not enough praise for this place. Absolutely amazing! Read more

The Chestnut Cottage Restaurant did not disappoint! My husband, baby and I went there for breakfast last Sunday and really... enjoyed our meal. I got the Chipotle Eggs Benedict. It was really delicious! They also made a great latte and the mixed berrystrudel was fresh! The service was great as well! I would definitely recommend this for breakfast if you are in the area! What a great brunch it was. Fresh hot apricot walnut scone with our shared chicken fried steak, over easy eggs and hash browns.... The sauce was exceptional. It was almost too much food for us to share. The place was very comfortable and the staff was veryfriendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to eat, maybe before going on the ferry to Victoria BC. Next stop is waitingin line for the 2 pm ferry. Enjoy your meal at this wonderful place! Read more
