Wanted sushi for lunch and wanted to try a different place. Bring on Sumo Sushi. We had the Pooler Roll and the Special, I think... it was called the Crab Stick Roll. I also had the Express Steak Bowl and my wife had the Express Shrimp Plate. Everything was onpoint. Sushi was very good and I recommend trying the Ginger Sauce. No wait staff. Ordered from this restaurant through UberEats while on vacation in GA and it turned out to be a pricey meal! ($93 for 2 adults).... They offered a nice selection of hibachi plates and sushi rolls, with pretty big portions. The food was okay but somewhat bland.Overall, it was not worth the price. Read more
I love this place. It's a really great alternative to going to a sit-down hibachi dinner. I always get the express hibachi... entrees. I've had it with shrimp, or steak or tofu and the sauces are very delicious. They are not stingy with the sauces. Greatquick easy. And I also really like their dumplings. I've also gotten their soups which are great as well. And I absolutelyrecommend them as opposed to season of japan. For some reason why I go to season of Japan their food taste like cat food. I ordered this place with caution from Uber Eats, and I got Hibachi Steak and Shrimp and California Sushi with cream cheese and... crab. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the quality, taste and overall size of everything to what I paid! The TeriyakiSauce and Shrimp Sauce were pretty good as well! They are clean, timely and make delicious food. Once my soup was salty and they refunded all 4 of them and replaced them on my... next visit. Just yesterday, we ordered and a sauce we ordered was missing and they gave us a free order of shushi when wereturned.
