Stopped by their food truck in Windsor Forest. The chicken pot pie and steak and ale pie were fantastic, hot, a welcome treat... for a chilly night. They had just sold out of their special pie of the month, hopefully I'll be able to try the bratwurst andcheese soon. The chocolate silk pie is delicious, but maybe more fudgy than airy. Will return. We have bought from the Pie Society for several years and have loved the food. However, in the past year or so, we have... noticed the filling is more scanty, and the upper crust (delicious though it is... and the only part of the pastry that I eat-the rest being rather soggy) seems thicker. I loved the chicken curry pie, but at $13 per regular pie, and only 4-5 pieces ofchicken (tomatoes in abundance) in the entire pie- it's rather expensive. My grand- daughter used to love the sausage rolls, soI thought I would try the actual sausages. My husband picked up about two pounds, they come frozen so I separated then intoindividual links. As a Brit, raised on sausage, bacon and eggs almost every Saturday, I'd say the taste is good... not right, but good... the texture is, unfortunately, more like black pudding than sausage. If you love British sausage, and have theopportunity, find Big Ben's sausages. They are made in Florida, but taste much more authentic. Went there with my daughter.she showed me all the things they had. I got the fish and chips and the egg wrapped in meat .it... looked weird but I had to try it. Let me tell you it was great. Everything in there was great. Thank you for having such aplace.great job. Read more
I have never had meat pies like these before so this was a first. I don't have a lot to compare this place to but I liked... it. The desert pies were great and the service was very good. It was a nice stop a long the way to our destination and thecoffee was refreshing. The building is clean and they have lots of options. My only regret is that I couldn't try everything ina single visit! Read more
Excellent pies. Sold out of fish n chips n sausage rolls but still excellent pies and they have more goodies since I last went.... Bought British candy, honey n custard n ribena cordials. Love it. Excellent customer service she even played with my 13 monthbaby. Definitely recommend as usual Read more
