Co-worker recommended, so I gave them a try. Not bad but not great either. The cheese sticks were better than the pizza. The... pizza tasted generic, like already made dough. Had the Chucky Cheese pizza taste. Spent $32.86 on a 14", half pepperoni, halfextra cheese, order of cheese sticks and 2 drinks. I don't understand what the hype is. Read more
Scrumptious Pizza! There are many places to find so-so pizza these days, but if you want to taste Scrumptious Pizza then you... must try Lovezzola's. As soon as you walk in the door, the delicious aroma of Italian food envelopes you. Our group fought overthe last slice and yours will also. 830pm on a Sunday night. My garlic knots were complete dough not even cooked (unsafe to eat) and my pizza tasted of canned... chicken. I called and asked for a refund on just the garlic knots as they weren?t edible. The gentleman in the backgroundproceeded to trash talk me, rudely told the other employee that it?s not true and I?m probably lying (as I sat and listened onthe phone) so they?ll only refund if I drive 20 minutes back (plus another 20 mins home again) to return the order of knots asPROOF. My boyfriend and I went to the new Costco in Pooler & this locally owned and operated family pizzeria came up on our GPS. They... have been in business over 43 yrs! Their pizza is true NY pizza! Delicious crust and sauce & just the right amount of pepperoni! Thin pepperoni, too! We also ordered a steak & cheese sub which was tasty! The inside of the restaurant is decorated like anold style pizzeria in NY city. We had great service, ordered at the counter and then the server brought it out to us and checkedon us. They even have a large party room for big groups traveling or having special occasions. I'm so glad we found this gemeven though we live on the islands. We will be back ! So disappointed because they used to have some of the best pizza around. However recently their stromboli crust had so much... seasoned salt on it that it was inedible. Then I got their spaghetti and meatballs which is swimming and sauce. That doesn'tsound bad, but spaghetti is supposed to be coated in sauce not swimming in it. Lastly the pizza I got last week. Couldn't havebeen too busy because it was 4:00 p.m. on a weekday. But it was so greasy that oil dripped off of it. In my picture you can seewhere they set a cup of garlic butter on the pizza and the grease pulled in the spot where it was. It was so overrun with cheesethat the cheese and grease were dripping off the slice. And all of this caused the dough to become soggy. Worst of all, Iusually don't have stomach issues with food that is rich. So I ate it. I had the worst stomachache ever. Thinking it possiblywasn't the pizza, I ate another slice of the next day and once again had a horrible stomach ache. Loved it I!!, cashiers were very polite and dressed properly. The food was awesome ????, meatballs were spectacularly delicious... ????, and the ambiance was delightful. Bus boy was so sweet and very friendly. Restaurant was clean and pretty. We willdefinitely return to this restaurant and certainly recommend it. Kudos to the manager ???? great service. Read more
