Girl who served us over the weekend was super sweet! She had made up a spicy, nutty coffee that I really enjoyed! The hazelnut... cold foam she added on top was also delicious! Tasty coffee and friendly service. Love that they offered a lot of locallysourced items! We will definitely have to try their food next time we're nearby! Read more

We stopped on our way to Chicago based off the google reviews. The place is small for inside dining, however they do have... outdoor seating if it was a nice day . I had the cheese curds which were very tasty. My only bad review on the curds wastheir homemade ranch dressing. The ranch was more like a dill dressing. WAY too much dill, i believe if the dill was toneddown, the dressing would be amazing. I also had their chicken tenders and they were cooked to perfection. We also had asmashburger which was big, delicious and their pickle mayo or sauce was fabulous but yet intriguing. it was a very quaint cafeand it appears to be a farm to table style restaurant. you could also purchase local meats, produce, etc. Would definitelyrecommend this place for a nice and quick lunch. Friendly, timely and super fresh food added up to a great lunch at the outdoor table across from picturesque courthouse. ... Nothing to complain about here. Club sandwich was stacked tall with high quality meats, sporting a ymmy 'special sauce'. Thefried cheese curds were hand made with fresh cheese goodness, served with light dipping sauce. Farm fresh was an all aroundreality! Read more

I stopped in on June 16 2022 during the 6-day Ride Illinois Bike Tour, as it was very hot, and a cold brew sounded in order. I... described what I preferred, and he recommended one from the Emancipation Brewing Co. in Fairbury IL. Not having high hopes, Iwas blown away by how much this tasted like a German Hefeweizen, I mean REALLY good! After one, I decided to have another, butwanted an appetizer, and went with their cheese curds, which I highly recommend. I should note that the staff was superb, and itis impressive to see how they made a long, thin store so functional, it really flows. Wish I would have had time to try theirspecialty ice cream. Plus, I was so impressed with their garden seed assortment, this was not your Walmart or Farm & Fleetselection. This is a must visit!!! Read more

Stopped by on our route from Chicago to TX and I am super happy that we did! We were super hungry so called in our order before... we arrived. General: Most of the food is locally sourced and when checking out, the woman at the register informed me she wasthe baker here- she makes cookies and cheesecake cups + whatever else she?s inspired to whip up with the ingredients theysourced that week. Every employee we interacted with here were super sweet and helpful. Food: My husband got one of the weeklyspecials- the Taco Burger and I ordered the Smash Burger. We also got a full sized garden salad & a side of crispy potatoes toshare. The garlic croutons were delicious (and I?m usually not a fan of croutons) and I would have preferred a bit more tomatoesand cucumber. The Taco Burger was a bit spicy w/ all the jalapeños but very tasty, and I really enjoyed my Smash Burger (I didadd some mixed greens from my salad for a crunch). The burgers both have double patties and they?re each pretty thin so cookedmedium-well, & you can?t select another way to cook them, but not dry at all. The crispy potatoes were seasoned well but a bittoo thickly cut for our preference (but still tasty). After eating outside we decided to share a dessert and were able to orderthrough the walk-up window which was cool. We opted for the Caramel Milkshake and wowww- it was soooodelicious! Bathrooms: Simple, clean, and well stocked. Gender neutral. Saved this in my Google Maps for anytime we?re roadtripping on Route 66 and want a delicious, fresh lunch or dinner. Read more

Great food! Cute little spot on Main Street. The staff is very friendly. Had the pulled pork sandwich and loaded crispy... potatoes. Everything was delicious. Just passing through on our way to a country music festival all the way from South Florida.I was very pleased to find a restaurant I'd be willing to come back to again during future travel. It?s a must go place. I heard from others when I was at this place and I personally believe too that food is amazing. We tried... mushroom burger and it was delicious. More importantly this place stores really random exotic stuff and mostly local. I alsoliked them for the reason that they are very conscious about recycling and many small little things are super cool about thisplace. You must go and check it out. Read more
