The happy hour for and drinks are great, quality and price. Regular menu for lunch and dinner is good also, I've had the shrimp... and grits twice now. Love meeting coworkers and new friends at this place! South Kitchen has a nice staff and great food! An added bonus is the... rewards app they use. You get a generous amount of points when you dine in and you get savings for your birthday and when yousign up. Just used $10 off my purchase that was in my account tonight at dinner. Been here a number of times but lately the food and atmosphere has taken on a new and exciting feel.. one I am ready to go back... for! Service was a bit off . But they definitely recovered and came through in the end. Our appetizer was more of a dessert..they brought it towards the end if the meal as they ran out and had to run a fresh, hot out of the oven batch.. oh darn…greatest part of the meal! These biscuits are creamy and the homemade preserves matched perfectly.. so so good! Ok enough ifthat.. our meals were fantastic! Fresh salmon and tons of roasted veggies.. Can’t go wrong with their Grilled Atlantic Salmonmeal. Yummy! The Fish Po boy stole the show though. The cod was cooked perfectly and the buttermilk batter delicious. The tartarsauce was not good in my opinion.. too much vinegar but it was not needed as the sandwich was plenty juicy with the coleslaw.And don’t forget to get the sweet potato fries! I've dined here twice, once for lunch and now once for dinner and enjoyed both experiences! It's very much a neighborhood... family-friendly place with easy but somewhat eclectic food choices. We arrived for a late dinner on a Wednesday and could tellthey have a busy (early/normal) dinner crowd, then it empties out fairly quickly - closing at 9 on week nights. This was not aproblem, as long as you don't mind some empty tables around you and fast service :-) If we lived closer, we'd be here moreoften, though it sits between us and the beach ????
