Took my 85 year old mother here for her birthday dinner. We were not disappointed. Great service and delicious food. Extra... special was sitting outside and feeding the tilapia and turtles in the pond. She really enjoyed this. Read more

Ok where do I start. Took us 30 minutes to get a drink after we were seated for our reservation. I didn't know sitting outside... meant you were forgotten. We got our food before we got our drinks so I had to order another one so I knew I had a refill. During that time we weren't offered any water. Our food game but we didn't have any silverware and had to wait and ask for thatas well. I also didn't realize they made kid sized margarita's, BUT ST MARY'S DOES! picture below The food turned out good butthe service just plain sucked I wouldn't recommend this for anyone wanting good service. We came in at either the start of or during dinner rush. We didn’t want a high top so we opted to wait the ten to fifteen... minutes. While waiting a few other groups came in as well. I’d talk atmosphere, but there wasn’t one. A few spread outpictures, a couple anchors, and a large fish on the wall is the only way you knew this was a seafood restaurant. What stood outthe most in the room was the bar. But the clientele certainly isn’t that of a bar. The waitress we had was courteous. Shegave us plenty of time to figure out what we wanted. A missed opportunity on her part was suggesting drinks and food. It’susually what most do when they see you ‘struggling’ to figure out what you want (let’s face it when you’re hungry it alllooks good). The alcoholic drink we picked wasn’t fantastic. But, it must have had better liquor in it because I left feelingas if I’d had a couple drinks. My other half and I split one drink. So, I’ll accept the $12 price tag for such a small glassof alcohol. Dinner itself was entered fried foods. Shrimp, fish, clams, gator tail, and fries. The fish kept slipping out ofits breading. Without that breading it tasted like frozen fish from the dinner isle at the grocery store. The shrimp tasted likemost other places. The clam and gator was tasty. They are things you usually don’t find. The fries were to crunchy for us toenjoy. If we’re in the area and have a hankering for gator or clams we’ll come back, but we wouldn’t go out of our way.
