A nice place to have a good meal. I ordered the corn beef and cabbage. It was not what I expected although it was tasty, but the... corn beef was served all shredded up and the cabbage was very tough. I can't say I won't go back but I won't order the corn beefagain, I would try something different next time. Don't let my disappointment keep you from trying this nice restaurant. We were on our way to Georgia and decided to stop for lunch at Donovan?s. We both ordered the pastrami sandwich. I ordered... mine with sauerkraut, and my husband ordered his with coleslaw. Both sandwiches were delicious and plentiful. The service wasfast and pleasant. They also carry local draft beer that was also delicious. I would highly recommend Donovan?s if you are inthe area. Very nice place to visit! It's a little out of the way of... anything, but well worth it. We got the fish and chips platter and... the blackened chicken sandwich. Both were amazing (and I don't even like fish). Our waitress was absolutely great, very sweetand attentive. The atmosphere is a good combination of restaurant and pub (much like in Ireland) and it was really a great placeto go for a quick and delicious meal. Read more
The food has never disappointed me or the drinks! We will drive out of our way to get their shrimp...the servings are so large... that my husband and I share a platter. On some of the weekends they had a live singer or trio playing. I like theatmosphere...people always seem happy to see you who work there. My word of advice, however, pace yourself! ;-) Read more
