Too bad the pizza is good. But the service is the worst I have ever experienced. With all the options in the area there is no... reason to go here. The last two time have been a disaster. The first time I had to go to the store to get my delivery, after thedriver forgot half the order and didn't come back with rest of it. This time the driver banged on my door so loud it scared mydaughter and the pizza was all over dripping out of the box. Both times when calling the store , was met with an indifferentresponse. This place is writing THE BOOK!!! And please don't let the book's Title fool you ie...they are NOT JUST amazing... Pizza...wings...sandwiches and salads...YES...ABSOLUTELY Pizzaria 101...and then some...! By any NJ/ Metro NY standards....butthe Trattoria piece of the book's title puts it over the top...AMAZING...the tables have beautiful linens and the interior iscozy...warm and inviting...Family owned and operated...super nice staff is outstanding...but the FOOD!!! The Trattoria piece isfantastic...I was unsure of what to order today and the owner asked if I liked seafood...? with a nod he said..."I gotyou"...see the pic...The Santa Lucia!!! OMG! Geographically not exactly in my backyard (close enough to be way worth it) thisis my new "go to"! Hands down...for a plain slice, gourmet pie or 5 Star Italian...catering...quick to go...or...eat in...BYOwhich is nice...(reservation probably suggested I would imagine for peak times...it was busy but space available today when Ivisited off peak) also seems they have secret "off menu" specials that change daily... Haven?t been to Pizzaman in a couple years and decided to give a try again for lunch. It?s clear that there was a revamp in the... decor and food due to new ownership. Pizza was the best pizza I?ve had in long time! My family tried the plain, margherita, andmango chicken habanero. I enjoyed the house salad as well. Definitely recommend. Read more
