When I first walked in, the girls were arguing with a customer after them telling him to just order and pay other people were... waiting he was clearly upset. Secondly the couple in front of me walked out?.. they said so unprofessional, Third I waited formy food which was right?. Surprisingly I ask for 6 curry mustard and 2 salsa?s I ordered 4 meals, the girl who had been rude toalmost everyone said I only have 2 and showed me a empty bin, I said I know that can?t be all you have because they were servingat the window as well, she rolls her eyes at me and hands me 2 more , I said I need 2 more and she walked over to the drive thruand got 2 more and said ? oh my God?? I was furious and said don?t you OMG me you were rude to everyone and now your a liar. Iwill not be going back and it?s a shame because the food is usually very tasty? Read more
This establishment is very understaffed and inefficient. I had ordered my food on the app providing 30 minutes before I went to... pick up my food and yet when I arrived they just started to prepare the food. Fast forward I had to wait another 45 minutes formy food to be ready. Just to put into perspective how bad the wait was, people had chairs waiting to even order their food inthe first place. I waited in line for at least 10 minutes with only 1 person ahead of me. The employees here are so slow that the person in front... of me actually Left and I still waited for someone to even acknowledge I was there. 9/06/2022 update: I have been back a few times and had some great meals until tonight! I used the drive through and was... shorted my black beans ( how difficult is it to put it in the foam container). Then I took a bite of the chicken and it fellapart and tastes horrible and looks like it should have been thrown out hours ago. Then you ask for salsa and they give you 2. Iam done with this location! The worst meal in over 30 years of going to Pollo Tropical! Very disappointed! Disappointed thesandwiches were removed from the menu for a more expensive and less tasty, longer wait time cuban sandwich. I ordered theoriginal and chicken, both were very bland. Bought $40 worth of inedible food. First of all, I was given the wrong food. I ordered the original family meal but I was given... the chicken four ways instead. Secondly, I didn't feel like driving back to the restaurant just to get in a long line and wait.As if that wasn't bad enough, I decided to keep the food. Bad idea because it was horrible. The white rice was stuck togetherand hard. The black beans were tasteless. The grilled chicken breast fillets were not completely done. The chicken chorizodidn't taste good. The fried chicken fillets were soggy from grease and had no crunch to it. The plantains and corn was fine butall of the food was cold. Finally, I tried calling but of course no one answered. This location is terrible. The night staff are incredibly rude and try to lock the doors so you can?t come inside to order. When... you do manage to get inside they completely ignore you at the counter until you say something. Forget about courtesy andcustomer service, because there is none. Good luck getting the sauces you ask for, they will either tell you they ran outbecause they don?t feel like filling up more containers or they will not bother putting it in at all. The food was okay. The problem is the management of the employees. I asked for a Cuban sandwich and was told that it was not... available. Meanwhile, I sat there, waiting for my order and watched them make 3-4 Cuban sandwiches! Also I had to wait in themeantime while the employees flirtted with customers, trying to get other customers numbers. They claim to offer curbside delivery. They even tell you to pay ahead on the app and park in a marked spot to wait to be... served. I waited for 25 minutes and finally went through the drive thru. Then they told me they do not offer curbside delivery.I asked if she could just give me my food at the window. She then refused and told me that I had to walk inside to be served.
