Very pro staff, an atmosphere like no other in Pompano. This is a beautiful restaurant. The views of the beach and pier can be... had on two levels. They just started a happy hour 3-6p as well. Been wanting to try this place for a while! So glad we did , great find. With great views of the ocean and pompano?s beautiful... pier. They have a large outside bar, which you can sit at. Seating outside, with large fans so you don?t overheat in thesummer. Also they have a large inside seating area. Everything that we ordered was delicious. The Ali tuna was cooked toperfection with a little bit of a spicy kick. Lovely tender octopus. The server and staff were courteous and veryattentive. Oceanic is a magnificent restaurant on the beach in Pompano Beach, FL. Our server's name was John and completely took care of... all 5 of us that night. The manager came by to check on us that night-i have forgotten his name, but not his demeanor. Justlike John, he was friendly and engaging and assured us that our time at his restaurant would be worthwhile. He didn'tdisappoint. The atmosphere at Oceanic is worth its weight in gold. You're literally right on the ocean next to the beach andit's very romantic. We ate mostly small plates for dinner- the sun-kissed shrimp was amazing as was the conch chowder and tunaroll. Our daughter had the baby back ribs which looked excellent too. The drinks were great. One big plus is the location ofOceanic as I said earlier. You're literally steps from the beach and water. One of my favorite restaurants, I always thought I had a favorite meal which was the cashew crunch salmon but from this visit I... can?t decide! The crab cake dinner was so heavenly, I don?t know if I?ve had anything better, I?m not sure right now I?m mightremember of another favorite but right now that?s definitely the yummiest thing ever!!! I definitely recommend it and the othermeal we ordered was the churrasco steak, it was so buttery and delicious, their sauce was on point and the mash was super yummy!And we added shrimp to make it surf and turf, they were cooked perfectly. Definitely will tell my husband to order that nexttime he comes with me! The drinks were great as always, I got the sunset vibes and it was definitely a Vibe. We also got asangria and it did not disappoint. The service is always really great and everyone is very nice, friendly and helpful. They takereservations and sometimes they have a wait so if you can try and make an appointment but if you don?t the wait is always worthit. I love also that it?s pet friendly, so if you want to come for lunch they have outside seating were your pup can hang withyou. First time there for lunch with my husband. Great bar service. We reserved a table but ended up staying at the bar. Great... atmosphere and friendly staff. This is now our Go-to place over the weekend. I recommend the sunrise shrimp it?s delicious. Read more
Great location and atmosphere. I suggest making a reservation on weekends (especially Sunday brunch). I ordered the watermelon... lemonade cocktail (very refreshing), I suggest ordering the ceviche for appetizer(very fresh and flavorful), i ordered thechicken and waffles which did not disappoint????, my mother ordered the oceanic surf and turf Benedict with crab which was alsodelicious! Temporarily lived in walking distance of this restaurant and regretted having taken so long to visit. The location right by the... shoreline, size, layout and the vibe of this restaurant are simply inviting. Lots of patio seating and love the bar being on thepatio overlooking the ocean. The entire staff provides excellent service. However, now for the most important part of thisreview - the food. I was totally blown away and did not anticipate the food to be so divine!! I ended up returning the next twoweekends as a result. A MUST have is the shrimp appetizer. They are like bang bang shrimps except 5x better!! Very large portionfor an appetizer. The 2nd MUST have dish is the cashew crunch salmon with mushrooms, wild grain rice and miso sauce - toabsolutely die for!! The flavor is unbelievable!
