I normally go to the J. Marks restaurant on Federal Hwy and NE 13 St in Ft. Lauderdale, but last night, my foodie cronies... decided to try the original J. Marks in Pompano Beach, 1490 NE 23rd St, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 (actually, it is on Copans atthe West end of the Pompano City Center). I remember going there once about 15+ years ago when it opened. Our dinnerexperience was excellent from the atmosphere (already decked out for the Holidays), the very attentive service, and thedelicious food. Always. Besides their wonderful meals, I love their home-baked complimentary hot buns with soft whipped butterthat they put on the table upon sitting down. You can?t just eat one? In fact, I could make a whole meal with just those (nophotos of the buns). Come to think of it, I prefer the layout of the PB locations, but the Ft Laud spot is more convenient forme. Either places, the food is always superb. Read more

Really enjoyed our meal here. Everything we we had was fantastic. Service was a little slow at times and they forgot to give me... the salad I ordered with my meal. They also don?t do anything special at all for birthdays. Read more

I absolutely love coming to the J Marks in Pompano Beach. Every time I walk to the door it is such a welcoming experience from... the hostess, servers and bartenders. Ive had phenomenal services from Frances, Mitch, Jock and the bartender Lisa. Every time Icome here by myself, with my spouse, or with family we always leave with a smile on our face. The food is amazing, the drinksare spectacular, but most of all is the servers, managers(George) and bartenders who make every moment worth it. Read more

We hosted a themed gender reveal for my best friend at JMarks this weekend. The staff was beyond accommodating. Frances, Chadd... and Mitch were the best in what they do. We had close to 30 people at our tea party and they did not break a sweat. JMarks hasgreat food and they did an excellent job getting our food and drinks out in a timely manner. We always eat here and this justsealed the deal for this to be our favorite restaurant ???? Read more

GREAT food and service. Adam was our waiter and he was great. It was very busy and he was attending to many other tables, but... still managed to be extremely attentive to us. At one point my husband ordered a beer but in the busyness our waiter hadforgotten to bring him his beer. He was extremely apologetic and told my husband the beer was on him and even went as far togive us a free desert. Amazing customer service and the food was worth the wait. My Cajun Havarti cheeseburger was amazing andcooked perfectly, smoked fish dip was fresh, and the desert was delicious! Not to mention the bread they serve you when youfirst come in is addictive i have never had bread as soft and delicious as this restaurant only downside is you will want tospend so much money because everything is so good ! deff will be back here again to try more dishes Read more

Nice place with mixed menu. Make sure you don't miss out on the bread. Started with calamari which arrived with 3 different... sauces, nice taste and plenty for sharing. The skirt steak was cooked to perfection, mine was medium, with few side to choosefrom. My son ordered the grilled chicken breast, which was juicy and rich of marination flavor Read more
